Well alot of things in the area are getting changed like the mall and the old movies at some point is getting closed and torn down.

My new JVC GZ-HD7 has a steady shot feature that doesn't work and it's the biggest complaint with this camera in all the reviews. I can manage, though. :(

Damn thats sucks. Does the button just not work? Maybe you can only use it on a specific setting or something, But you really only need the funtion if you have real shacky hands.

Nope, it's the feature that is crap. The button works, it shows in the indicator that it's enabled, but doesn't make any difference. When I zoom all the way in on something far away you can see how badly the shakiness is.
