@GhostGamesForever If you use the distributive property you mulstiply -3 by 1.....its basically acting as if the 3 is a negative number because the subtraction symbol is next to it . a negative multiplied by a posotive number is always a negative

Now I am almost 21 and I am watching Algebra 2 videos on youtube, teaching it to myself on my own free time because I see so many people in college using the platform of algebra to shoot them to higher math; really interesting math, that you can apply to so many fields besides just math! Algebra is a stepping-stone and it's tough, but you'll be glad you did it!
