mrhankeyfan, I loved hearing your story, ty for sharing... that is the same kinda shit I pulled to get through college, myself.... high school for me was never that tough lmao
In my AP World History class in high school, we had a project where we had to do an analysis of a song with "relevant historical content". I picked this song, bullshitted for about 5 minutes about St. Stephen being the first recognized martyr for the Christian church, and got an A.
I just wanted an excuse to play this song in front of a bunch of weenies in my AP class and blow their minds. Mission accomplished!
@mrhankeyfan So, were you discounting the actual first martyr for the Christian church, which would have been Christ? Not that I'm religious, but... LOL.. seems funny that the actual 'first' generation martyrs (Paul included) are not recognized.. other than that, the Dead ROCK.
@mrhankeyfan Actually, this IS what this song and the Eleven is about, the Eleven being the disciples that remained after Judas killed himself. I saw them do this album in '69...

I had the exact same project for the exact same class in HS. I chose Deal, did the same thing, and got the same grade.
