@MrZeptar 5 x 3 TrueLumen 453nm Moonlight LEDs & a cut down TMC AquaBlue Flexi-LED Strip. I don't think the TMC AquaBlue Flexi-LED Strip are designed to be cut down as the places available for soldering are limited. They must be cut in multiples of three to ensure all LEDs function.
@Mysticm54 once the tank is stable it is very low maintenance in terms of reef systems. I would recommend this aquarium for beginners although feeding should be kept to a minimum as the low water volume can make this aquarium less stable than larger ones.
Gorgeous tank! This is exactly what I always have wanted to have. How is the up-keep on this tank? And would you suggest this tank/setup for beginners? I love the variety of corals you have. Amazing!
@rainclaw35 I do not have an ATO but I do a 20% water change every week and fill the tank to the maximum level. During an average week the water will drop to the bottom of the tank neck. I've never left it two weeks between water changes but I'd imagine this would be pushing it causing your specific gravity to rise maybe too high. I hope this helps.
Hi what type of LED strips are you using? I'm in the middle of converting my fluval edge and am unsure about what blue LEDs to get. Thanks
