i saw you catching those eastern painted turtles and i live in berks county pa i need to know about catching turtles i am well edgucated on all of the turtles i do need advice though i do not care what type of turtle it is as long as its not snapper i just really want to catch one for my sis. i do prefer painted or wood turtle but will settle for anything.PLEASE ANSWER U SEEM LIKE A PRO AT CATCHING TURTLES.
Females' plastrons are completely flat while males have a concave plastron for when they climb on top of the females to mate. That's the easiest way to determine the different genders.
