If you don't mind me asking, is this song not called "Battle At The Big Bridge"? This was my favorite song to play during battles in Dissidia (easily the best game on PSP), and I remember that being the name of the song. If it was given a different title I apologize, but I'm just curious.
I love the part at 0:17-0:19, it's almost as if the track is telling you "yep, it's about to get extremely badass here, you cannot even imagine how much epicness that lies ahead...!".
still feels like that video game music has gotta lazy, hell DKC, K1, Sonic & Knuckles, Mario, the old FF games had like this overwhelming energy that drew u in i cant fell that in todays games LMAO the elite 4 final battles on the pokemon games have more of that feeling than most games now
True that, and I feel like a truly kick-ass sound track can make or break a game. Hell, I've gotten to the point where when someone recommends an RPG and I dont like the music, I tend to like it a lot less :-/
@nintendork1982 Quite easily. Alongside are Mitsuda who worked with Uematsu on Chrono trigger and on was the composer of Secret of Mana, Xenogears, and a number of others. And who could forget our dearly beloved Koji Kondo? Easily best three vg composers.

@MGSCloud I think the official title is "Clash on the Big Bridge" but I've also seen battle at the big bridge too.

Black Mages version sucks, IMO. My favorite part is the arpeggio at the start, and they just kind of "slighted" it in the BM version.

My galuf is always knight/summoner. (to make his mana useful when he is a knight)
I have also Lenna thief/white mage (to be fast and heal everyone first)
Faris black/white mage (two healer skills are needed sometimes)
Bartz Blue mage/Time mage (all the awesome magic) :3

I think thats what happened in FF XIII. Final fantasy always had billions of side quests and stuff, in FF XIII they just have Marks.

This sounds slightly like a remix of a battle song in FFIV.
