Actually the scriptures never say that Jesus was born on the 25th of December. Everyone knows that the church in Rome started that tradition, which probably was because alot of them were still closet occultists. Even the book of Revelation says that the Beast sits in Rome.

Plus the only similarity between our star and God made flesh is that the name has the same sound in the English language, possibly the Germanic languages. Do you really think Jordan Maxwell doesn't know all these things?

You might want to check out a video here on YouTube called "Debunking Astrotheology". The narrator claims the famous "crux" in the sky which was formed by stars and Maxwell claims is the real "cross" of Xianity, couldn't even be seen from Israel back when Xianity was formed. Many gods were referred to as "the light". It makes sense because light can mean illuminating darkness literally, or illuminating spiritual darkness in the soul.

The 12 Apostles are based on the 12 Tribes of Israel, because Jesus was creating a 2nd covenant, and the 1st covenant was between Jacob/israel and his 12 descendants and God. Jesus and 12 Apostles = 13, Jacob/Israel and his 12 descendanrts = 13. The word "sun" and "son" only sound exactly the same in English, a language that didn't even exist in the time of Jesus. Yes, pagans celebrated Dec. 25th, but the Church used it to convert them.

Lot's of ancient monuments will tell you the same story. The sun was the first God, for growing food and providing them with light and love. Look at Stonehenge. That wasn't build in a day. It's more possible it was build with all villagers surrounding Stonehenge. Round gliding branches and 'The strongest men' coördinated by the wise. The building could easily have cost centuries. But as you say. They were not wearing watches all the time back then. They had time enough. Monumental calenders! :D

I have done some research and found out that Christ was not born on Dec 25. In Rome December 25 was made popular by Pope Liberius in 354 and became the rule in the West in 435 when the first "Christ mass" was officiated by Pope Sixtus III. This coincided with the date of a celebration by the Romans to their primary god, the Sun, and to Mithras, a popular Persian sun god supposedly born on the same day.
