@shannisfan 1. this is recorded on a webcam mic so it's not going to sound that great, the miley cyrus one is better 2. trying to hard would be if I was to spend my life trying to be a singer when I know it's actually a hobby that I enjoy rather then something I'd like to do as a future career 3. @shinshoshine i would just like to add the fact that you don't know her, so how would you know if it was fake? (which it isn't!) I personally know this girl, she's one of my best friends! I'm not saying that your not aloud your opinion but maybe your just hating on her vid coz she's got more views than you? and maybe the comment was out of jealousy? now i just think that immature!

@AmazinglyAwesome93 Your conclusion that I am immature, is predicated on the assertion that it was from jealousy that my comments were derived which is not followed by how you were able to establish such a fact which consequently serves to invalidate it. Even if your first premise could be established your conclusion is impertinent to the argument, the validity of the criticism is wholly independent of the intentions behind it. Your argument is flawed on two independent accounts.

@GezzieeTbh I repudiate the assertion that my comments were driven by narcissism. They were merely an explication of the importance of critique. The use of the word 'gay' in this context is an expression of quality and cannot be equivilated to sexuality despite its historical origins; a result of the dynamic nature of language. I specifically used the word 'fake' to describe the manufactured sound devoid of the prosody which is typically an expression of true emotion and passion.

@gillz94 One of the strengths of the internet is its ability to provide a environment where anybody can criticise or support ideas freely. Whilst it is your prerogative to act upon this criticism as you choose, your proposal to limit this to that which is "polite" would be a great disservice to yourself; to have ideas and preconceptions intensely scrutinized promotes a context in which innovation and refinement flourish - as distinct from your 'ignorance is bliss' postulate, which does not.
