I still think Whitney Houston has made her mark in the music industry. She can just sit back and retire if she likes. It is neat how she let the newcomers like Akon and Alicia Keys write songs for her. She has definitely been an inspiration for som many new artists. People should give credit where credit is due.

Here in Milwaukee we have a few coverbands that the females sing this song and they ALWAYS sound great week after week. I know there secret, they take care of themselves and vocal rest and vocal exercise, it is tough work. I heard that crack and cigarettes permanently damages your vocal cords.Personally I would have never sung in this condition in front of millions of people.

I was there too, and yes, while the video doesn't show the true sound, you have to admit, she was in bad voice and you can't trust a taped replay tomorrow. Studios will be hard at work tonight cleaning this up.
