  • your voice is sexy.

  • I had one, but the tip broke off. I only had it for a year or so before that happened, but for $10 I'm not complaining.

  • @keithmarshall007 Whoops, sorry about that. And wouldn't ya know they raised the price to13 bucks... maybe not worth that much, huh.

  • @cyclist01222 Really? I got it at Walmart for $6.

  • @ZaneBob2Productions Sweet deal dude!

  • you can bye them at bass pro :)

  • @My360man Oh Thanks, I'll check it out.

  • made in china = junk get a coleman western i am holding a navy sheth :)

  • @My360man Great Idea! Where do I get a Coleman Western? Never knew they existed... thanks for the tip.

  • @My360man your moms pussy's junk.

  • It's good it works for you, but why not support American industry by purchasing an American made knife, such as the Gerber LMF II Survival Knife?

  • @EquipaPatriot I like the LMF and may own one some day. For right now it's just a matter of budget.

  • No prob

  • Thanks. I love your videos

  • @flillyou123 I'm glad you enjoy them and thanks for the sub!

  • I have one my handle broke off so I paracord wrapped it

  • @flillyou123 Good thinking! I have wrapped over the existing wood handle myself... provides a firmer grip and emergency cord if needed. Thanks for sharing.

  • Nice review.

  • @CanItAlready Thanks for stopping by!

  • hey if it works then hell yeah ,,

  • Next time your in walmart make a vid of walmart people

  • Thanks for clearing that up. I feel like an idiot. Good video.

  • Bad design ruins it all.

I hate the index finger curve... And also the end curve, there is no space for the little finger.

The wood handle is too small, the edges of the blade go off.

    Bad grip.

The only good thing is the price.

  • @SerJahPhoto It's not for everybody... thanks for stopping by.

  • @SerJahPhoto

Different people do have different-sized hands. Fortunately, there's thousands of knives out there to choose from. :)

  • What is a "blade?" I keep hearing this in the knife community but I don't understand what it is.

  • @StrikeroftheBall In the application of a knife it is the portion that does the cutting and is sometimes slang for the word knife. Thanks for stopping by!

  • @lardlizard Don't know. Package said stainless. I would guess 440J, maybe A. Mora, sweet knife but I don't have one. Price just went up to 13 on this knife... not worth this much but 10 was okay. I have a gerber axe which I believe is the same as Fiskars. Thanks for commenting.

  • whhats battoning?

  • @jman432432 Hitting the back of the blade with a log to drive it through aother log. Usually done to prepare wood for a fire.

  • what's full tang? i know it sounds stupid, but i just dont get it.

  • @TheDudelikeCrackers The Tang is the part of the knife that the handle or scales go on. Full tang means you can see the metal all around the handle and it is not skeletonized.

  • @cyclist01222 oh, ok, thanks.

  • Good review and a good idea to get a few knives to keep around. What I like about the $10 knife is, it will get used and be around when you need it. No worries about it being lost or stolen because of it's price.

  • @Uriel1816 That's my line of thinking. Thanks for stopping by my friend.

  • Is 420 steel good for stabbing / cutting meat? (deer / goat)

  • @mQtek I would say yes... not this particular knife but Buck 420hc seems to be popular with hunters. They are known to have an excellent heat treat process. Thanks for stopping by!

  • @cyclist01222 Do you think a bowie would be good? Like the PUMA TEC Bowie? I'm thinking of getting it but I'm not sure, you will have to decide! :)

And you're welcome, I like your videos.

  • @mQtek I don't own a puma but they have a good rep and would be a fine choice. If it "does it" for you I would get it. Sounds like you're looking for a hunting/skinning knife. Might I recommend the Buck 119... you could save yourself a few bucks (no pun intended) and have a tried and true performer. The problems is there are so many knives and so little time. Good luck!

  • they need to revamp the name & start an expert brand of colemans with real life usable tools!!

  • bought that a year ago i think awesome fun knife

  • Yeah that knife has dulled like crazy on me. But definitely worth the $10 price tag but I wouldn't baton with it. Could probably snap on you.

  • @kevinengelhard I think it could snap too so I keep my batoning on the small side.

  • I was chopping wood and the tip broke and it does not hold a sharp edge.

  • @reddumbass1 This knife is kinda useless for chopping... no weight to it at all. I use it for batoning and other tasks and carry it when weight is a concern. Every knife has its place and I agree with you, this one is not a chopper.

  • The blade chipped in 4 places when I was chopping 1" diameter green wood...

  • @cProductions141 Oh, sorry to hear that. This certainly can happen. Are you able to clean it up or is it too far gone?

  • @cyclist01222 If I had the right gear I could make it into a smaller camp knife, but I decided to buy a Gerber Prodigy and Swiss Army Knife to add to my survival bag.

  • Nice knife for the money.

  • Honestly, I have to agree that just seeing I can tell it probably is worth it for the money. Yeah, it probably doesn't use the best steel (and would probably be more likely to break under sideways torque) but it is probably pretty rust resistant and easy to sharpen.

At 10 dollars for what you get it seems VERY good.

  • @martinaee You are exactly correct! Thanks for commenting.

  • @cyclist01222 yup! I'm going to have to pick one of these up...

Hmm... actually though. I wonder if it's better to pay 20-30 bucks for something where you get a better sheath that's more capable of being attached to things? Oh well, at least the knife itself is pretty good.

  • @martinaee You know what? Every knife has its place so I would buy that $30 knife with the better sheath if it excells in that area. The right knife in the right situation is important and fun. I think this Coleman knife fits the bill if you need an extremely lightweight carry and capable knife. Ultralight lovers should be snagging this thing up left and right.

  • I had that knife for about 2 weeks and I didnt like it very much and when I was walking outside I dropped it on the side walk and it broke in half

  • @mrooyaa It happens. Bet you're glad it was only 10 bucks!

  • This same knife *was* being marketed under the WAL*MART "Ozark Trail" name. I liked the first one I bought so much that I got another one still in the package just in case it broke. Haven't used it yet but the design is very nice. I'm amazed to hear it will baton wood that well without breaking.
