Controller for platforming (at least on 2D games, in 3D games where you'd have to use your mouse to aim in the direction you'd want to jump and what not I prefer to have a mouse and keyboard rather than a controller.)

I Find moving easier with the right and sa long as I can code multi-key lines for action buttons. As in attack and jump in a single keystroke (say s & x as they can be easily pressed at the same time or bend a finger joint so as to 'charge' one and still be able to use the other).
