It just goes to show you how we as the human race takes things like hair, that is really insignificant if you think about it, and turn it into something astronomical. Its just hair. My step dad was one of these wankers that hated long hair. When I was 14, I had long hair, similar to Bowie's, and he would mock me and call me a girl, causing no end of arguments with my mother. Basically he was a twat.

Yes, he does look a lot like Brian Jones here. It is amazing that the BBC detested and banned American rock 'n' roll that greatly influenced all those amazing British rock artists. If you haven't seen the movie "Pirate Rock" you've got to see it. The British only recently recognized their own rock stars with a British rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame within the last 10 years. Sad, but true.

I remember even in the 80's and to some extent now that people won't give you a Job if you've got long hair. I'm 38 and refuse to cut mine short. It just show's you that we still live in a very small minded society to some extent !!!

It's a matter of likes, I don't care if someone has long or short hair, that won't stop me from appreciate the person. When I said "hate" I actually meant I don't like how it looks, that's all.
