  • I bet the clothes come out super clean, looks like great agitating!

  • Im guesing you cant put anyting with buttons or zippers in the wringer

  • @pbenna You can, but you have to fold them so they are "inside" the clothes before putting them through. I have only ever broke one button, and I was a bit careless in that case.

  • looks like it has a very good cleaning action

  • speed queen makes really good commercial washers i have found out.

  • Can you PLEASE tell me what kind of oil you use for the gears? I've been looking all over the internet for it, and apparently these things are out of date ;D lol just kidding. but yea, i cant find any oil information. :(

  • @Pickles10175 just use a bit of turbine oil to oil the roller bearings. Other than that, it never needs anything else.

  • @eddy1210 thanks so much :D the things been leaking oil down the leg for as long as we've had it, and we never knew if we needed to put more oil in, what kind of oil it needed, or what. so thank you.(:

  • @Pickles10175 Ya, they seem to all do that. Nothing to worry about, there's alot of tranny oil in that gearbox.

  • boil water

  • I love that washer!!

  • Wow how can you wash two white dress shirts in with a bunch of dark colored towels :S don't you want your whites to be nice and white? Not dingy and greyish?

  • I used a 1966 Maytag wringer for about 5 years. I still have it. Keep it oiled and it works.

  • Out of curiosity, what kind of oil do you use?

  • I have been using the 3 in 1 oil. You can get it just about anywhere.

  • Thanks for the info.

  • I love how old fashioned these machines are, thank you very much, this one was made a few years after I was born.........

  • according to research, they stop making wringer washer in 1983.

  • did these machines have the 210 degree stroke like the top loaders?

  • As far as I know yes, and the transmission looks almost identical to the automatic.

  • wish you had made it longer i really like the way it washes. And i really like the wringer it looks like a good one.
