Nancy 3/18/10 Azriel Carver's Body Found - Part 1

My son was best friends with Azriel. It was so sad when he came home in tears because the school told them Azriel was found dead. As far as I've heard she's still missing. Everyone who knew her thinks she killed him and ran off to Canada to have a single life again.

@kashasama I an so sorry your son has to deal with the death of his best friend. Children should never be experiencing death at such a young age. Perhaps the people that know her just might be correct that she took off to start a new life. If she has drowned at the same time her son did, she would have washed up along the shoreline at some point. This is so sad.

Might be wrong, but it doesn't seem like someone would deliberately encounter so many people who could later be established as witnesses to her whereabouts if she were planning to hurt her child. This seems like some kind of horrible, possibly alcohol-induced accident.

this is my cousin's sister that is missing. she is devistated! I am learning more information online about the case than the family even knows. I'll try to let everyone know if I hear anything new!

I have a tendency to entertain your theory, though why would the mom try to hard to get correct directions to the grandfather's house? I think she took a wrong turn (drunk) ended up in the water. The boy gets out, gets swept away by the current, she tries to go after him......eventually her body will show up as well. (just a theory)...thanks for posting.

Sounds like she was lost and desperate, then drinking on top of that.. very sad.

I would hope to think that they fell into the hands of the wrong person and that this wasnt her fault

@Pozorrogo I can't even imagine how this happened based on how the car was found as it wasn't totally submerged into water.  It's like they walked directly into the water rather then walking away from the water. But that makes no sense as they would have stuggled to come back to shore. But then it was dark and may not have been able to get their sense of where land was. Something is just not right here and I sure hope it's not what I am thinking. So sad, so very sad.

This poor baby boy, My heart aches, please parents, give your child to someone else legally if you are on the verge of doing something like this to yourself, don't cut their precious life short out of your desperation. God can make a way if you let him. Times R tough, but we R still a country of opportunity & there R places to get help

@chromedaffodils When Nancy didn't want to hear it about the mother relapsing, and wanted to dismiss it, she never should have as if the mother slipped back, then it was a major concern for the child's safety. My goodness, this child was so precious and adorable and the mother is so beautiful. I do hope they find her safe, but I am not sure it will end up that way. : (

I thought I watched this video closely. I did not catch that Nancy G. blew off that alcohol could be a factor. I figured that alcohol was a very good factor a few nights ago when her fiance stated that "Kat" was in recovery because of drinking. I am wondering if "Kat" is the kind of person that should never touch alcohol, not even 1 or 2 drinks.

@tdbrown1963 Nancy didn't blow off the alcohol issue tonight, in fact she is making sure it is really out there. However, it was the other night that Nancy blew it off because she didn't care if Shantina had a alcohol problem, and the fact was the other night it was VERY important.

I had a feeling that alcohol was going to be a factor. Even after Nancy blew it off and said that it didn't matter. The lady is slipping.

So she polished off half a JUG of wine, ordered and forgot a corndog at a diner, fell on her ass...but there are no reports that she was intoxicated. Right.
