My son, HM2(FMF) Anthony Mark Carbullido was KIA in Afghanistan 8/08/08. Yes, he was a corpsman, and also fleet marine force, was deployed to Iraq with a marine unit in 2004..this was his 2nd deployment to Afghanistan. My son is with God&he is one of the angels among us. This song always manages to bring tears to my eyes - no matter how often I listen to it. I guess it causes me to reflect on all of the angels that have affected my life. It also makes me want to be an angel to others -- to help those who are in need.
I remember once when I was little, I tripped at the top of the stairs of the apartment we lived in at the time and went tumbling down. I stopped right in the middle of the stairs, as if an angel had stopped my descent. This happened twice, actually...I remember it, and my mom witnessed this also.
There have been many other times I believe an angel protected us. Once the car brakes went out while my mom was driving. Yet they worked when she needed them. (I was there when it happened.)

This song was played at my beloved wonderful aunt Donna Willprecht Rokes Ainsworth Schoolcraft at her funeral on Monday, October 12th. It is such a sad thing when someone so... young passes - I guess God knew how great of a woman she was and wanted her to come sooner than later. We all love and miss you dearly.

I lost my grandmother to MIRSA in late 2008. She was an ifluence to everybody in my family. Before she died, all my family got together in the hospital with chaplin and told stories about her, and just hearing everybodys memories of her made me feel blessed to have known and loved her. I don't think this is silly at all. Pets are family members too. They bring us comfort and peace. It is sad when they pass on, just like all the human members who help us as well.

@MsHorse1996 I hate to disagree with you but this is not Randy Travis. i listen to Randy Travis, i bought his last 4 albums, i've seen him live, and this does not sound like him. Now he may have done a cover of this song but this is the one by Alabama, it is off their 1993 album "Cheap Seats"

A wonderful and inspiring song. I truly believe angels are among us. God may not give us the answer we want when we pray for angels to watch over us, but He always gives us what we need.

This song was played at my beloved wonderful aunt Donna Willprecht Rokes Ainsworth Schoolcraft at her funeral on Monday, October 12th. It is such a sad thing when someone so... young passes - I guess God knew how great of a woman she was and wanted her to come sooner than later. We all love and miss you dearly.

My friend died about three months ago,. and it was his birthday the other day. his 16th birthday. we miss and love him so much. he was the quarterback for our high school team. and today is our first home game, all the players are wearing #3 on their helmet and they put a huge #3 on the press box and at his funeral they retired his jersey. this is the song they played as they walked the casket out. i ♥ you zach!

I lost my grandmother to MIRSA in late 2008. She was an ifluence to everybody in my family. Before she died, all my family got together in the hospital with chaplin and told stories about her, and just hearing everybodys memories of her made me feel blessed to have known and loved her. I miss her everyday and every time I hear this song, it reminds me that she's watching over me. I'm crying while typing this because I miss her so much. God bless you and R.I.P Grandma Betty. My sister, Kyla Lahew, had died when she was about 8-9 months old on December 23, 1992. I was born a year later so I never got to see her, all I have are baby pictures of her. I miss her very much even though I never knew her. This song was played at her funeral and Ive treasured it all my life so far and still do. Love you sissy..R.I.P =/.. <3
