I still remember the first time MTW2 played this song for me. I was defending my castle from a massive attack on the campaign map with something really pathetic, just a handful of archers and spear-men against professional knights and heavy infantry.

Battle deployment starts and its raining, a real English rain its bucketing down. In the end I only JUST won, a true last stand in the central court yard after an epic battle through the castle. Between the thunder and this it was truly epic.

Indeed. Poor bastards were framed of Heresy and the order got disbanded as a result. Of course, the charges were brought on by the king of France, who, coincidentally, owed the Knights Templar a debt equivalent to twice his treasury.

They fought to the end though. When the last grandmaster was put to the stake, he shouted that he would be there to the French King was judged before God in a year.
