Agree with most here, Alchemy '78 is just a bit better as Terry is the indisputable master of drums on this piece (and many others). The only reason I rate this version a on par is the more "jam" feeling and sound of this event. The sax and keyboards in this rendition are an outstanding credit to the flow and sound. Either way, this is a classic piece from a class guitarist (one of the all-time greats) and as always, something I'll enjoy for years to come.

What a great lead player, Knopfler's choice and style of licks is second to none in his playing, he is a legend in the guitar community, and should be in the top 10 of all time guitar players, Dire Straits should be in the RnR HoF!!!!!!!
