it certainly is. look at the guages. not only are the needles different, but the guage under the tachometer has the needle pointed up, whereas the M5 cluster has a needle pointed down. the whole cluster is clearly different in other ways too...

RS6 bites the dust once they both are on 150+ kmph... and u cant play with an RS6, unlikely the M5 is verry playfull. + the M5 got a way better status then a RS6.
