@CharGuitarGirl - I've done it and it's not an easy fix. Those are cheaply made amps and not easy to service. It's about a two dollar part but will run you about an hour labor if you take it in.

Yea man, I have a 250 R, don't even bother with fixing it.....buy a boss Ds-1 Distortion pedal. It's a little heavy for this, and I use it mostly for Grunge but it was the best $34 I have ever spent. It's cheaper then a repair as well.

@CharGuitarGirl Eh, thats a pretty nice amp, I cant say much about Vox's really, but I know you generally can't go wrong with them. Just rather pricey, and btw I have a Fender 212R, 250R's are the strings I run. But my Fender is great, it's only a solid state, but it was only $20 more then the Vox your looking at. It also has 2x12 speakers as oppose to the 1x10 in the Vox as well.

MTG-who COULDN'T tap their foot to this tune!? This great! I don't know-I never get tired of this one! It's just one of those songs! I agree with you about tabs! I use them sometimes when I can't figure just what the heck someone is doing with a chord or lick but most of the time its by ear.
