for example, i managed to play through the korean version of maplestory ds because in the menu there are things like 'items' 'skills' and 'quicksave', even though you'd imagine no one but people who read korean would be playing the korean version of games.

America and the West is simply a wider demograpic, so developers of most generes want to target them. And it works.

I think WW was a brilliant game! Not as good as OoT, i was captivated by how amazing it was. But WW was the first game i played in zelda series, and i have fond memories playing this with my step dad, it was the only thing we had in common to be honest. I love it for its plot too, its really, i dunno, i cnt describe it! But still it didnt ryin zelda whoever said it did, it kept its good name up!

Personaly I loved wind wakers story, and gameplay! i liked how you could pick up enemies weapons. the graphics were sorta neat, but the problem was it didnt fit as a zelda game. personaly i think wind waker is a great game on its own. but as a zelda game it didnt seem to fit. it didnt have that fairy tail midevil style to it. and I dont feel cell shading goes good with zelda. but if this game wasnt a zelda game, id like it alot beter
