Thanks! On my computer, the eyes looked brown/hazel because I didn't want his eyes to be the exact same brown color as The Master's. I made the Master's reddish brown, and the Doctor's greenish brown, but in the video, they look way greener.
just came by your video and it was a huge big help to me as i am really confused to what all the tools are ,i just got my wacom bamboo nd think its so useful as a starter for me.
btw thanks for showing where the smuge tool is (its the key to my talent :D )
Thanks for doing this. It turned out really well. My brother is doing some Graphic design stuff at the moment using photo shop. Any tips u could send me i can gve to him would be great thx.
(ma'am ^_^) Thanks - I always mean to record the sketch, but the ishowu program takes up so much of my cpu that I don't use it unless I'm sure I've got something worth recording - by the time I realize the sketch isn't going to be shitty, it's already half done.

Wow! You really are amazing - well done! I was thinking of getting a graphics tablet and I definitely will get one now!
Just one thing though, is there any reason why you painted the Doctor's/David Tennant's eyes green? He has brown eyes!

Welcome - I'm going to do some real-time basic tool videos for people trying to use Photoshop, so hopefully that helps1
chrisknowsthis 2 years ago
Haha, thanks! I know...I was going for a hazelish brown so that David's eyes wouldn't be the same color as John's, but I overdid it.

Wow! You are so good, how long have you been painting? I'm a newbie myself ^^
Awesome painting btw!

I've been painting in Photoshop since I was 16 (8 years) - I've only been doing it well for like 4 years :)

Very impressive! The way you do your work gives a pleasing color charcoal / pastel look to your images.

Thanks! I try to do a little something to keep it from looking like a photocopy.

That was pretty damn awesome. I envy anyone who has the digipainting chops.

me too! your coloring is awesome, so I hope you're not trying to be modest. I envy anyone who can do linework without the pen tool ~_^

kickass ma'am ^_^
did you use the bamboo small or medium?
i'm getting one but i'm not sure if the small is too small or if scaling it and what not make the drawing space irrelevant :p
solodarkwolf 3 years ago
Thanks! I have the small, and I have a 20" monitor at 1680x1050 rez. The scaling makes it pretty irrelevant as far as I'm concerned.

Try it using both relative and absolute settings, also called pen and mouse settings. I found that I liked my small tablet to work like a mouse.
