ok so whenever i go to any website on google chrome it says that it has detected malware, and same with facebook, but only one of many scans on different programs said that i had malware on my computer. plus, i dont notice any difference. whats going on

@dylanfleck It disables that, you also can't open task manager........Won't even let you access program files (2 days on computer).
It all depends on how early you catch it, I would highly suggest a system restore asap......You let this sit on your computer long enough, you'll be formatting the hard drive.
if malware doesent work for you then right click and pick open file location and rename the one in folder to iexplore, you can use anything as long as you rename it is, not the icon but inside the folder one to iexplore and it should work. Task manger is in C:\Windows\System32
@nbasam2354 You never have to buy either r.kill or malewarebytes......I can't post links in the comment section, so I'll pm you the links for each. Remember to rename the files something random (EX:internet explorer 2) so the virus doesn't stop them from running. Run r.kill first, then do a full system scan on malewarebytes. (It's best to download the files from another computer to make sure their not compromised)

Hello, I have a problem. My computer randomly gets pop ups even if I'm not surfing the web and things like Yahoo Messenger, and other stuff don't work one bit, along with me having VERY slow connection. I just got my internet hooked up 2 days ago. I can start my task manager though, and obl, obk, and obj is running. I looked it up and its malicious threats that harm my comp. I don't know how to get rid of them. I tried downloading Mcafee trial and it freezes when i open it.
@IAML4DZoey try tdsskiller.exe. u may have tdss.win32.rootkit. this will kill it. other wise when you download a antivirus try downloading one thats not that well known as the virus may not no to block it from running. if this still dosnt work rename the antivirus installer to something totally random. like a2gd7.exe

I had browser redirects, a folder in c drive called "kill reg" and a couple others, I just ended up saving my files to another drive and reinstalling windows. With 4 viruses all at the same time, there is no way to win!
@pqer121 It's hard to say really, a lot of people are split between IE8, firefox and opera. From my experiences, you can get this virus from any of these browsers no matter how much security software you have active. I once got it through firefox (through facebook) and twice through IE8. I personally prefer firefox, because I can add things like add blocker and other security software easily.

Malwarebytes/Superantispyware good programs 1.reboot into safe mode if your PC is infected 2. Open up a browser in safe mode google search SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes download both 3. Scan with SuperAnti first then malware bytes and remove and quarantine all viruses found or infections...then reboot it should be gone

WINDOWS ITS UNSAFE always many viruses are being installed by stupid mistakes and you need to pay for everything .start using linux my friend is 100% safe no virus no malware . llinux its free just download the UBUNTU version on your desktop burn the iso file in cd then install the linux version called UBUNTU

Put it this way, would you consider a protection software that disables all of your windows updates, prevents you from accessing the internet and generally takes over your computer to use it as a drone a virus protection software you would want ? I'd think not. If you see anything labeled internet security 2010, stay far far away from it!. One general tip is if you didn't install it, it could be a virus or spy ware...Get rid of it.

If you had let it stay on your system for a few days, it would most likely be near impossible to get rid of. You did better than my sister, she got this virus through her email and didn't tell me(just gave my laptop back like nothing happened, LOL).....Long story short I powered on my laptop 2 days later and found the internet security 2010 thing.
@StOnEz6one7 Did it destroy components on the motherboard (sound card, video card etc...) ? If not, just get a replacement hard drive and an os disk and your back in business.

Heres the deal, download Malwarebytes RIGHT NOW. It saved my ass a lot of money. I took the puter to the shop but it was closed, so I came back home and ran a full mbam scan and it got it.
If u wait till u get a hi-jacker it will be a pain in the ass to try to download it.

I went though hell for 3 days trying to remove this 2010 virus. I went to this site and downloaded rkill and the virus took control of it. So I went back & forth to safe mode and ran Malwarebytes over n over and over. So.... now I dont see any pop ups and I will do what u did as far as uninstalling this program then reinstall it. ive had this virus for about 24 hours now & its already changed numerous things & its disabled my access to the internet. i downloaded the rkill but it wont let me open it. i have malwarebytes downloaded & im running a full scan now. last night i ran a quick scan & it found 9 threats which i deleted yet my system was still infected. Have you tried to hit f8 (or what ever your system bios says) to get into safe mode? If you can get into safe mode, download that r.kill file again, because your current one is damaged. It seems that this virus is morphing and becoming worse since I made this video, I will look into this issue.
run the krill from the site itself, it worked for me. didxn't have to down load. the virus was not allowing it to run once down loaded. excellent video how to uninstall internet security 2010. however is the malwarebyte an up grade of internetr security 2010?

Second, I ran into the same issue. Thanks to scutter4Christ, he shared that all you have to do is move the "Application cannot be exectued..." to the side. DON'T CLICK THE "X" OR OK buttons. Just move it to the side and try to run the rkill program again. I just did it to my desktop and it worked.

I have this virus on a Win XP machine, tried removing it using Symantec, now when I reboot I get the log in / log off issues at the Welcome screen can not log into my machine at all, Im able to get my recovery console going. Safe mode does the same thing, log in, few seconds later logs me right back off and leaves me at the welcome screen.
Ouch, I would probably try to hit shift, ctrl and escape a few times before it logs me out and kill the is2010 processes. I haven't yet seen a case as bad as yours, but I will look into it. How long has is2010 been on your system?
I have had the Virus since Jan 16th ,I have Symantec Corporate which recognized that there was something there and quarantined it and said I needed to reboot to clean it, it was not successful, I also used Spybot which is the last thing I remember using before I got stuck in the login loop, I think that Spybot tried to undo some changes to my registry that this Virus made which may be some of my issues, not sure. I have tried Checkdisk /p / r in recovery console with no changes.
You may want to start looking for that windows operating disk that came with your pc. The problem is that it is very hard to get rid of this virus after its been on your system, for just a few days. This virus is composed of many different things, including trojan horse worms, which eat away at your system. Even when you remove it, it's done so much damage you need to reinstall windows anyway. I will continue to look into your issue and others to see if there is any hope.
Yup, I managed to get into system restore before the virus opened up, and I restored it to last week, when I got it, :D I couldn't do this method though, because the virus killed my internet connection, so I had to watch it on my other computer, but that meant I couldn't download MalwareByte, but I managed to beat it, but thank you for sharing this with people who's internet was not killed by this nasty virus. PS: I am on the formerly infected computer now.
Get rid of the program as soon as possible! believe when i say this becuz it will not let u go on the internet the third day it is on ur computer/ 2nd day..!!
I agree, I also had a similar virus like this back in 2008 (in addition to this one) and was unable to get internet access. The only thing you can do is try to get a task manager window past and kill all of the processes used by the virus (and still may have problems connecting). The reason it damages more as days progress is because parts of this virus are trojan horses, which slowly but surely destroy your system.

Did you run r.kill first and then check to see if any processes ending in 2010 were still running? If you didn't, you will have to download the exe file again because it has been damaged.
I have norton 360 premium edition and it keeps blocking the internet security 2010 from going into my harddrive soo this is what's helping mee but the only thing i hate is this shit keeps ocming up lmfao
This is a variation of Antivirus Live . In some ways it's worse and in some better. Antiviru Live icon is just like the shield blue shield with the white stripe in XP Security Center. It lets you get past the desktop but then prevents you using any applications unless you're fast enought o get into taskmanager. With Antivirus Live you would not be able to go online to any other website except the one it wants you to go to.
I already have malware bytes on my computer for a while but i just got this virus 2 days ago. I tried scanning my computer for virus, and when i tried deleting the threats after the scan it said i need to reboot the computer. After i rebooted the computer the virus still remained on the comp; the only diff now is that when i scan my comp now, nothing shows up in the malware bytes scan. If i download the malware bytes program from the site in this video, would i be able to delete the virus? thx
You should, internet security 2010 recognizes programs like malwarebytes, windows defender, avg antivirus and others that would be able to delete the virus. The programs either disables them or destroys a core component, causing them to not be able to run. The alternative form of malwarebytes on the site should get around this problem and successfully get rid of the virus for you. After the program completes the scan, do a system search for any remaining remnants of the virus and delete them.

Malwarebytes/Superantispyware good programs 1.reboot into safe mode if your PC is infected 2. Open up a browser in safe mode google search SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes download both 3. Scan with SuperAnti first then malware bytes and remove and quarantine all viruses found or infections...then reboot it should be gone

WINDOWS ITS UNSAFE always many viruses are being installed by stupid mistakes and you need to pay for everything .start using linux my friend is 100% safe no virus no malware . llinux its free just download the UBUNTU version on your desktop burn the iso file in cd then install the linux version called UBUNTU

Put it this way, would you consider a protection software that disables all of your windows updates, prevents you from accessing the internet and generally takes over your computer to use it as a drone a virus protection software you would want ? I'd think not. If you see anything labeled internet security 2010, stay far far away from it!. One general tip is if you didn't install it, it could be a virus or spy ware...Get rid of it.

If you had let it stay on your system for a few days, it would most likely be near impossible to get rid of. You did better than my sister, she got this virus through her email and didn't tell me(just gave my laptop back like nothing happened, LOL).....Long story short I powered on my laptop 2 days later and found the internet security 2010 thing.

Heres the deal, download Malwarebytes RIGHT NOW. It saved my ass a lot of money. I took the puter to the shop but it was closed, so I came back home and ran a full mbam scan and it got it.
If u wait till u get a hi-jacker it will be a pain in the ass to try to download it.
This is my second hi-jacker, I ditched the first, AntiVirus Soft with system restore.

I went though hell for 3 days trying to remove this 2010 virus. I went to this site and downloaded rkill and the virus took control of it. So I went back & forth to safe mode and ran Malwarebytes over n over and over. So.... now I dont see any pop ups and I will do what u did as far as uninstalling this program then reinstall it. HOWEVER...my programs wont work unless I right click and open as administrator. I cant do videos in HD & transfer to computer via windows movie maker. Any1 know why?

I have verizon internet security suite and It found three viruses, one whose name was something with internet security blah blah blah and it deleted it and now the shield and x Icon are gone, do you think verizon removed it for good? I'm scared to lose my computer right when I need it.

Just removed it, but it left my Internet messed up, alot of sites I normally visit it says "restricted site, it's restricted based on my security preferences, and my system is infected".. Also my Internet based programs such as my Twitter apps no longer open

ive had this virus for about 24 hours now & its already changed numerous things & its disabled my access to the internet. i downloaded the rkill but it wont let me open it. i have malwarebytes downloaded & im running a full scan now. last night i ran a quick scan & it found 9 threats which i deleted yet my system was still infected. If this full scan doesnt work i think im out of options?

the rkill thing didnt work because the virus or something is stopping me from opening it. there would be a popup saying "Application cannot be executed. The file is infected. Please activate your antivirus software". any suggestion on what i should do?

Have you tried to hit f8 (or what ever your system bios says) to get into safe mode? If you can get into safe mode, download that r.kill file again, because your current one is damaged. It seems that this virus is morphing and becoming worse since I made this video, I will look into this issue.

run the krill from the site itself, it worked for me. didxn't have to down load. the virus was not allowing it to run once down loaded. excellent video how to uninstall internet security 2010. however is the malwarebyte an up grade of internetr security 2010?

When that popup comes up, don't hit cancel or the "x", just move it off to the side and then you should be able to open it

First and foremost, thanks for posting this information @sir.
Second, I ran into the same issue. Thanks to scutter4Christ, he shared that all you have to do is move the "Application cannot be exectued..." to the side. DON'T CLICK THE "X" OR OK buttons. Just move it to the side and try to run the rkill program again. I just did it to my desktop and it worked.
I followed the rest of your tips@ sir and I do believe it is fixed.

I have this virus on a Win XP machine, tried removing it using Symantec, now when I reboot I get the log in / log off issues at the Welcome screen can not log into my machine at all, Im able to get my recovery console going. Safe mode does the same thing, log in, few seconds later logs me right back off and leaves me at the welcome screen.

Ouch, I would probably try to hit shift, ctrl and escape a few times before it logs me out and kill the is2010 processes. I haven't yet seen a case as bad as yours, but I will look into it. How long has is2010 been on your system?

I have had the Virus since Jan 16th ,I have Symantec Corporate which recognized that there was something there and quarantined it and said I needed to reboot to clean it, it was not successful, I also used Spybot which is the last thing I remember using before I got stuck in the login loop, I think that Spybot tried to undo some changes to my registry that this Virus made which may be some of my issues, not sure. I have tried Checkdisk /p / r in recovery console with no changes.

You may want to start looking for that windows operating disk that came with your pc. The problem is that it is very hard to get rid of this virus after its been on your system, for just a few days. This virus is composed of many different things, including trojan horse worms, which eat away at your system. Even when you remove it, it's done so much damage you need to reinstall windows anyway. I will continue to look into your issue and others to see if there is any hope.

Yup, I managed to get into system restore before the virus opened up, and I restored it to last week, when I got it, :D I couldn't do this method though, because the virus killed my internet connection, so I had to watch it on my other computer, but that meant I couldn't download MalwareByte, but I managed to beat it, but thank you for sharing this with people who's internet was not killed by this nasty virus. PS: I am on the formerly infected computer now.

I agree, I also had a similar virus like this back in 2008 (in addition to this one) and was unable to get internet access. The only thing you can do is try to get a task manager window past and kill all of the processes used by the virus (and still may have problems connecting). The reason it damages more as days progress is because parts of this virus are trojan horses, which slowly but surely destroy your system.

Did you run r.kill first and then check to see if any processes ending in 2010 were still running? If you didn't, you will have to download the exe file again because it has been damaged.

This is a variation of Antivirus Live . In some ways it's worse and in some better. Antiviru Live icon is just like the shield blue shield with the white stripe in XP Security Center. It lets you get past the desktop but then prevents you using any applications unless you're fast enought o get into taskmanager. With Antivirus Live you would not be able to go online to any other website except the one it wants you to go to.

I already have malware bytes on my computer for a while but i just got this virus 2 days ago. I tried scanning my computer for virus, and when i tried deleting the threats after the scan it said i need to reboot the computer. After i rebooted the computer the virus still remained on the comp; the only diff now is that when i scan my comp now, nothing shows up in the malware bytes scan. If i download the malware bytes program from the site in this video, would i be able to delete the virus? thx

You should, internet security 2010 recognizes programs like malwarebytes, windows defender, avg antivirus and others that would be able to delete the virus. The programs either disables them or destroys a core component, causing them to not be able to run. The alternative form of malwarebytes on the site should get around this problem and successfully get rid of the virus for you. After the program completes the scan, do a system search for any remaining remnants of the virus and delete them.
