I recall that he frequently went the wrong way during campaign events - I also recall the "wandering around" he did during one of the debates - the "dis" here I think is disoriented. Plus, social graces are not his forte. Most likely this is just a lack of awareness rather than a planned act of disrespect. Still extremely grateful this guy is not in the White House.
