  • just found this song already fallen for it. top notch

  • When I listen to this song, only one thing comes into mind......

    DRAGON INSTALL!!!!!!!!!

  • Do I hear a hint of Wily Castle 1 from MM1 at the end?

  • Does Demetori have any albums as such? I've just come across them and I'm very interested in buying some of their stuff to encourage em but that doesn't seem to be too easy. Can't find em on ebay, amazon, itunes... in fact YouTube seems to be about the only place I can find em. Are all their songs linked to an anime series?

  • @Kariakas As far as I can tell, you have to make a deal with the devil to get your hands on one. I've heard mention of albums being available at certain conventions in Japan, but that's all I know. I would love to buy a stack of Demetori albums, but I don't think I'll ever be able to.

  • @Kariakas Well, I am only just discovering their work, but all the music I am finding is mostly touhou related, so no, I can say that not all their work is anime related (touhou is a game series)

  • @nerdfromhell Though Touhou is heavily inspired by Anime.

  • @Matrilwood that's like saying that superman and the peanuts gang were inspired by comics.

Anime is a style of visual art >.> And even in the sense your thinking of, Touhou is actually more often than not inspired a mixture of three things.

    1. Asain Folk Lore (Mostly Japanese) 2. "Western" Customs (This is basically anything that is foreign, such as most of the Scarlet Devil Mansion) and 3. Whatever alcohol is in ZUN's glass at that moment.

  • @nerdfromhell I always felt it had that '90s Japanese Cartoon feel with the spell-cards and using an external devise to make a character far more powerful than they normally are in an over the top display. But I see where you're coming from there. (Of course the '90s theme could very well be there because the game was from the '90s-Early 2000s)

  • I have no idea what Touhou is, but these metal remixes of the songs from it are awesome.

  • @TitaniumAudi

It never too late...GO AND PLAY SOME TOUHOU NAO!

  • Comment removed

  • Where can I find it?!?

  • @TitaniumAudi

We are one the internet, where you can pretty much acquire every single paid programs for FREE

    answers . yahoo . com / question / index?qid=20090527201441AAmgLMj

(I recomended you should start with 8 since it is very polished comparing to 6 and 7) (also, remember to patch the game in english after downloading)

    Happy Loli Hunting

  • @TitaniumAudi

It's a game series, which itself isn't that awesome, but the music is composed by a God. Then us mortals act as his instruments and turn the godly compositions into the best musical pieces ever created.

  • @Thejebe

What the fuck are you talking about? The game series is a work of divine art as well and you best respect those who can complete its lunatic eldritch corridors of bullets. People who don't play the games and just look at the essentially miscellaneous media it sheds are inferior outliers to the actual fans of the series.

  • @Kageryushin

Quoting yourself, "We are on the internet", so you shouldn't go flaming on people. There are monsters and trolls out there which enjoy such trash talk. Secondly, we live in a "free world" where opinions exist.

  • @Thejebe

I've seen some shitty retaliations in my day and age, but this one is up there. That condemnation of ignorant, unskillful people spurning the original source material while enjoying its dregs which was not even a direct insult to you is what you consider flaming? Geez, you're thin-skinned as fuck, huh? Also not very smart, considering I'm not even the person who said "we are on the Internet." People who just enjoy Touhou for the music or fluff aren't real Touhou fans, period.

  • @Kageryushin

And you, comrade, seem to be blind. You cannot read nor understand the thoughts or opinions of other people. For the quote, yes, I was mistaken, but so are you. I do play the games, and I agree with the fact that fans who do not play the original games made bu ZUN and only enjoy the "fan side" of the series do not make up for a true Touhou fan, but I find other games more entertaining. Though, no other game (or game series) has as nearly beautiful music track as any Touhou game.

  • @Thejebe

Well then, I was mistaken in assaulting you so callously. In that case, this standoff has no meaning! I shall go now to find true ignorant scum to e-slaughter so as to preserve the collective honor of this fanbase.

  • @Thejebe I'm sorry to say, but Chrono Cross has better music. Yes, I know, blasphemy to the Touhou-obsessed, but it's the truth.

  • @DantonTheWerewolf

That is like saying to a christian that his/her God isn't real. It doesn't work.

  • @DantonTheWerewolf Hate to say it, but you can't say it's the truth. If you limit the statement to be based on your tastes then yes, but it is not possible for one piece of music to be better than another by definition, only a general agreement that a particular song/group/genre is very enjoyable.

That's what happens when you talk about stuff that change's based on who's perception you are viewing the subject from.

  • @DantonTheWerewolf it's time for an offtopic comment :3 Chrono Trigger is way better :P it hasn't shitty 3d graphics

  • @Melylareputamadre Nope! Instead, it has shitty 2D graphics.

  • @DantonTheWerewolf Nope! Instead, it has awesome 2D graphics

  • hi there people , im here to say that bands that make touhou remixes ARE 841 IN TOTAL

  • Kanako is displeased

  • The sound and feel of this song feels Daisuke Ishiwatari inspired somehow.

  • this band should be so much more popular... they are like the most insanely epicly sexy band ever!

  • @heavymetalmixer91 Demetori mostly does Power Metal, yeah. I like to call them the Japanese Gods of Metal, 'cause there are many Gods of Metal in the world :>
