The government does not put one cent into social security. Social security is NOT an entitlement. We, the employees, have a percentage of our paycheck put into SS, and our employers match that contribution. IMO, the federal government should not be adminstering those funds. Also, SS is not a discretionary item, they can not touch it. What is discretionary, and therefore dynamic, is the defense budget. Also Unemployment insurance is discretionary. Hands off of SS!!

The government does not put one cent into social security. Social security is NOT an entitlement. We, the employees, have a percentage of our paycheck put into SS, and our employers match that contribution. IMO, the federal government should not be adminstering those funds. Also, SS is not a discretionary item, they can not touch it. What is discretionary, and therefore dynamic, is the defense budget. Also Unemployment insurance is discretionary. Hands off of SS!!
