99 percent of the best quality youtube videos (audio tracks) are transposed using average quality software so they dont get the video taken off due to infringement. Morale of the story... Buy the album.. or get it ordered from JB if you cant. shouldnt cost more then 27 AUS bucks all up from anywere in the world.
I'm here to talk about the existence of a brand new musical experience called Idaea. The influence ranges from Planet X, Meshuggah, Dream Theater, Chick Corea to Contemporany and Experimental music. It would be really cool if you visited our myspace and added coments, thoughts and opinions!:
Some adjectives for these guys: polyrhythmic-counterpoint-jazz-metal, sacred and holy, dynamic, masterpiece, etc. There aren't enough good words to describe what this does to me.
Emergent was well written, and I particularly love this one, but the production on the album was CRAP, especially when compared to the crystal clear first album. Unfortunately something like this will never sell enough to warrant a remaster, because I would buy it again in a heartbeat to hear it mixed properly.
@dio52 i never had a prob with the production. in this particular video the sound is crapy to make it to utube. the overall sound of this album is darkes.that's it i think.
@camelspottergr it's not the youtube quality. the production is something I've had an issue with for a long while. I actually just listened to this song on my ipod this morning at work, and I had the CD in my car for many months (which has a good system in it), and I've noticed the muddy mix in every instance.
I just dont understand why the am I listening to this now? I should have heard them a long time ago .. truly geniuses ... thats how music is supposed to be .. _\../
this and their last album is just beautiful i always come back to it. do you know if they're still playing together, i mean i know most of them are in other bands, but do you know if they plan to make a third album?

Great song. Shitty production imo. If it was mastered better this would be truly amazing. The music is still genius

2:37 very beautiful

2:37 through 3:45 is absolutely uplifting and serenity inducing.
The guitar part gives me goosbumps...so pure genius that I think this is one of the most divine transition of all time...
Simply a masterpiece composition, brilliantly executed.
In a sane world, they would have gotten recognition for it ...

@worldismorphing you just made happier man!!! :D totally agree on this statement!!!!!!!!!!

@worldismorphing That's Steve Hackett, to my ears, playing the guitar.

@KyrionMyrthar
I have a few noteworthy guitarist favorited on my channel...
Most of them unknown masters of the axe.
My personal favorite : Michael Romeo from Symphony X....and also Mag Project that you may especially like (solo guitar artist).
I could point out my favorite song among them...but it would be pointless ...as it often changes...it's all good...all masterful playing...

@worldismorphing
Of course its fucking divine - its Steve Hackett playing that solo :)

Malone said that this song with some brighter things and singing deep mountains are constituting 75% of the musical parts in Emergent...

@spipiaoudjajikoh a lot of ideas in these songs!! If you don't consider the intro, grace and The brook the ocean as actual songs then he's right.
