@JaJa789NeO Then you don't like racing games in general i guess. Because most of the time you are just...well...driving. Other times you can drive over halfpipes and let the car flip in the air like in this game. Doesn't sound boring to me.

This is a great game! In fact, I actually have it switched on in my N64 right at this very moment. xD I didn't know so many people liked it too, but it's so much fun. :D I'm the same with the stunts, but the best cars are the Hotrod and the Mountain Dew as they roll faster and for a longer time, meaning thousands of points can be scored. I'm not too good with the racing aspect though... xD

For anyone who wants to play this game in less than 10 mins on there pc... Search project 64 on google then download. Then look up rush 2 Rom then download (make sure it's a zip file) then find project 64 on computer documents w/e it's at load it, then when it's on click file tab, load rom, find the rush 2 folder and voilà!

It's funny because of all those jumps on the track, those 4 simple square/boxes can give you some crazy-ass points. I played this game for hours, and still play it every once in a while.

Why can't they make awesome arcade racers like this nowadays? Video games in the past few years are too focused on realism, which is cool, but we play video games to somewhat escape reality... right? "SF Rush" and "Cruis'n USA" and etc. do a great job of letting you escape. Nothing beats games like this.

@kickasquirrel uh who cares about the graphics? Sure HL2 looks breathtaking and episode 1 was an improvement on that, then episode 2 kicked it up even higher. The game play in rush 2 is far more valuable, even games such as Road Rash 64 are immortal.

I was very intrigued by this game when I first played it. Low gravity, sick stunts, Mountain Dew products.

The fact that it was unrealistic made it extremely entertaining. I hope it's in the Nintendo VC somewhere so I can one day play it again.

I'm pretty sure that the game uses light gravity as a default. The only way to make the gravity more powerful is to use cheats. I might be thinking of rush 2049, but I'm pretty sure.

This is to everyone, all cheats except Stunt cheat can be activated by pressing all all 4 C buttons, L,R, and z at the same time and it should work. Only works on individual cheats though.
