  • Thats says all why ubishit sucks, you need internet even to play singleplayer...

  • Did it prevent Piracy? No. All their games are in Piratebays top100 list.

  • well i personally preffer the old times when a game didnt need constant internet to work, specially for those people with laptops that like to travel and dont see many internet spots, and anyways this wont stop piracy, because even if these "protection" systems cost alot of money to make, hackers have time and with enough time anything is possible

  • PEDO BEARRRRRRRRR

  • All this does for me is mean I am not buying these games. Once upon a time I used to get pirated copies of software, or crack them myself when I had nothing better to do, but now I have access to funds (and no time or inclination to crack) I do the right thing. No protection measure is going to work for a client side application as has already been proven by other hackers. DRM just ensures that paying users are inconvenienced. The same people that didn't pay before still won't pay.

  • Dude are some kind of analphabet? You know R doesnt bite you, also did anyone paid you to make that shit, and upload it?

  • ahaha can't you guys see that he's joking?

  • >I like to argue.

  • I honestly dont see the point in any kind of extensive DRM, i wish game developers would just go back to the days of a simple CD Key. After all, things like ubisofts DRM, EA's origin and Valves Steam do nothing but get in the way of a legitimate customer. I think game developers should know somethings wrong when there game becomes better after it has been pirated.

  • You people and your subjective opinions. If we were to take all your suggestions, AC2 would be pirated even more. World of Goo, has no DRM and received nothing but praise, and you know what? More than 90% of its players pirated the game.

DRM isn't gonna boost sales, but it isn't gonna lower it either.

  • @vkyle52 DRM is lowering sales. Every time someone buys a ubisoft game they go 'no this Cr%p again' then, next time they see Ubisoft on the box, they think 'Is this game worth going through that Cr%p again'

Incidently, all Ubisoft games released in the last year have been cracked and uploaded to the net atleast a week before the game was released. So it's hard to see how it has reduced piracy/

  • @neverfearchrisishere DRM is not lowering sales. In fact Steam, a form of DRM, is highly supported by russian gamers who most people say are pirates.

'Is this game worth going through that Cr%p again'? I would gladly put up with the delays, as long as i support the developers that made this awesome game. It isn't an excuse to illegally pirate software. Ubisoft has learned their lesson, but instead of removing DRM, they are going to improve it. Success starts with failure.

  • "World of Goo, has no DRM and received nothing but praise, and you know what? More than 90% of its players pirated the game."

I am wary of such claims usually out of the variables involved, and how often figures are inflated..

"DRM isn't gonna boost sales, but it isn't gonna lower it either."

If it is intrusive enough, unstable enough, crippling enough it could very well theoretically.

  • @travelsonic People shouldn't immediately pirate games for the justification that the DRM service was crap. Ubisoft has promised (and fulfilled it) to fix it. Now, i'm okay if you pirate when you own the game already. It's just annoying when people suggest to others who are planning to buy the game to pirate it instead. This will lead to more piracy. At the end of the day, we still have the choice if we want to pirate or not.

I won't, because it is the right thing to do.

  • Ubi is digging their own grave by doing this. I'm actually downloading their games illegally BECAUSE of the idiotic DRM... The last game I've bought was FarCry 2, after being annoyed by the redicilous DRM, I've never bought an UBI product again, and I never will.

Then again, Ubi will probably ignore the messages from the community and suffer more and more from piracy which will eventually result in bankruptcy.

  • There is always going to be piracy. Even piracy on the consoles -.- But please all game companies out there boost your sales by not putting stupid shit like DRM.

  • At my old house I couldnt play assassins creed 2 because I could only get a shitty DSL connection that kept going out. Same with the new Silent Hunter. I downloaded the pirated software just so I could play games that I bought. WHAT KIND OF SENSE DOES THAT MAKE!?!?!?!?!? WTF! I havent bought another game with a DRM and never will.

  • Ubisoft DRM secure algorithms are similar to SecuROM. And surprise that it take crackers shorter time to crack your software. Shame on you Ubisoft.

  • Love this movie! Very god. Thanks. I,am smiling now.

Ubisoft is really fucking their costumers, i did buy a legally copy. But since the suport team at ubisoft, doesn,t answer my request. I cant play it.

Never buy a game from those fuckers.

Ubisoft, if you read this. FUCK YOU!!!!!!

  • Yeah, I don't buy DRM-infected titles any more. I always buy 2 copies of DRM free games I like (Morrowind, Oblivion, Sins of a Solar Empire etc) but UBI and these other DRM obsessed companies can kiss my torrent tracker. I bought 2 copies of Assassins Creed 1 back when they only used a disk check. I almost feel bad; Assassins creed 2 was an incredible game but the DRM is a deal breaker for me.

  • @Psycho0124 I'm pretty sure Oblivion had secuROM. The GOTY edition that is.

  • @Psycho0124 Skyrim now has mandatory DRM. They slipped that one in last night.

  • I sense sarcasm in your tone

  • @jetkingknight I sense repressed anger LOL

  • what is DRM?

  • @DathNinjaX Digital Right Management.

  • DRM so good that they abandoned it in one year due to low sales.

  • i'm just doing my part boycotting Ubisoft

  • ARGH!!! WHAT HAPPEN TO OLD GAME SYSTEM..JUST SAVE THE GAME AND THE SAVED FILE IS PUT IN YOUR GAME FILE..NO NEED FOR THE FILE TO BE SENT TO THE UBISOFT SERVER SHIT..AC2 EXAMPLE..WE NEED TO CONNECT THE INTERNET ALL THE TIME SO THAT WE CAN PLAY THE GAME AND SAVE THE GAME..WHY DID THEY CREATED "DRM" ?? TO PROTECT FILES OR SOME SHIT..~ COME ON.. SOMEBODY ALREADY CREAKED THAT DRM SHIT.. SO NO NEED TO WASTE YOUR TIME ON SOMETHING THAT IS NOT WORTH IT.. IM ANGRY AT UBISOFT..!!

  • Oooh, and now they lied about drm on "From Dust".

    Good job, Ubisoft.

  • in india the common net connctions are no good....I bought Ac2 but due to net I had to sell it back....IT'S ENOUGH>>>>THE UBISOFT CORNT MANAGEMENT DOUCHES.....(not the game developers..of course) go on to spoil the game's value all the tym....and it all began with AC1 when skullptura cracked their sewn asses

  • @loaner1000 just like me..here internet connection sucks..bought AC2..then the internet thing was a BIG, BIG let down..and brought AC1 that skullptura craked version..AC1 story and gameplay made me love the game until this internet connection shit spoiled the moment of the AC story line..

  • @blueseeker93 Tptb has cracked assassin's Creed 2

  • @loaner1000 is this craked AC2 skidrow and Tptb able to save the game??..you don't have to play the game from the start over and over again..

  • @blueseeker93 it saves the game......all is well...can't be sure about skidrow...but the tptb is the compressed version...with nothing ripped all cool...

  • free stuff is butter then paying fore it

  • Hello Ubisoft...FYI...It's easier and less of a hassle to play pirated versions of your DRM protected games. I want to buy your games but you give me no incentives to do so.

  • You know, the world is inperfect balance. People make games and sell them. People who can't buy them use pirated copys. Therefore the people who are in charge of the finances of the developers make the price higher so the people who actually can buy them without starving afterwards pay more so the developers still have enough money to produce. I never thought i'd say this, EVER, but THANK GOT I LIVE IN SERBIA (AKA the ass of the ass of Europe.

  • I fucking bought assassin creed 2 and splinter cell conviction and it says i don't have a fucking internet connection because of the DRM, ubisoft can shove their games up their ass cuz i'm buying non!!!

  • yeh when buying games..rest assure that if its ubisoft they def have some aggresive drm. But on the bright side, they are easily cracked. Ubisoft is actually causing more pirated games, because people dont want to put up with the hassle it takes to get a bought game to work. I dont want to have to go online to activate, and hope that everything goes smoothly, or have a constant on connection, or any other bs they put out there. Pirated games just work, and this seems back ass backwards.

  • you sir just lost a customer..... actually alot of customers

  • made me laugh :D

  • I just want to play the fucking game I just bought on a steam sale called SC, conviction.

I can't because of that gay DRM -.-

Ubisoft should have known better that nothing is uncrackable, they are ruining the fun for the people who actually paid for the video game.

Hell, I think I might just go ahead and download a crack for the game now. :|

  • I thought we'd left this particular brand of nasty DRM behind, when terminator 2 extreme edition HD DVD used that stupid Interactual player to connect every time you wanted to watch the movie.

But, retarded as it was, at least it didn't require you be connected to the internet all the time you were watching. I still find it STAGGERING that someone somewhere actually thought this would be a good idea.

  • Comment removed

  • Blizzard does the same with SC2 and I don't see anyone complaining.

  • @Jacnas It's because with sc2 you get a functioning ladder and also can download the game anywhere. Also sc2 is mostly multiplayer so it's not such a big deal.

With Ubisoft you basically get a normal singleplayer game but with the annoying drm.

  • @Jacnas Oh yes they do. But the difference between Ubisoft and Blizzard is that you dont have to have a constant connection to play SC2

  • If they make a good game, they wont have to worry about piracy because all(or most of) the people will buy their game anyways. Look at valve game on the pc.

  • @zwazii Steam is also DRM, and it has annoyed me to the point where i actually had to crack the game to play it, although i had paid for it.

  • @Rall94KC I have never had a problem with steam.

And whenever somebody i know has a problem with steam, it's because they have no idea how to use technology.

  • @zwazii Are you implying that im one of those guys?

Believe me. Steam can be a bitch sometimes.

Offline mode? No you have to be online to do that. Just because it needs to update...

  • @zwazii Maybe that's because it's a quite situational problem. It happens when steam knows about an update for the client, but can't connect to the steam network. Then it cannot start, not even in offline mode. Now, most of the time i live at a boarding school, where misuse of the network (p2p filesharing which makes the network almost unusable for most people) has caused the school to lock down all but the essential ports (80, 8080 and so on)....

  • @Rall94KC After a weekend at home, steam found out about an update, but it was never downloaded. When I got back to the school and wanted to load up steam, it couldn't, not even in offline mode, because of the update.

Launching the executable for my games, outside of steam just caused steam to try and load up, which didn't work. The client told me i had to be online to be offline.

There was no other solution for me, but to use a nocd.

    Steam's a bitch

  • I guess everyone failed to mention, but great video, man. Love the satire

  • DRM exists because of business majors carrying their diplomas in their briefcases at all times who haven't a clue what video games are. Not because of piracy.

  • what the fuck are you saying?? if someone who noes a little he can make a crack of it.

  • i hate it because i have ADSL 4mbit speed and it says Internet Connection Required!!! fuck DRM

  • is that the voice of shaun or am i just TOO AMERICAN!!! to tell the diferance.... Go stupidity?

  • i love how at the end he says it stops piracy.. yet we all know about the offline servers =)

  • @themeleed do you understand how satire works? How about sarcasm?

  • If this really puts you out get a better net connection.

  • I support the freedom of information. I support "piracy."

    Property=matter. Intellectual Property is invalid.

People will always create things that they never plan to get paid for. Look at fan fiction. If big companies stop making games because they can't make any money, then individuals will create games. And that is a good thing.

  • @dyne313 agreed. Honestly, its just another dumb political game... The internet is a connection of computers... what right does government have to say what kind of computers I can connect to? Thats like if they made a law saying that we could only drink coke and not pepsi, because that protects coke's property.

  • @dyne313 To play the devil's advocate, hard drives have a set capacity not because manufacturers want you to pay more before they "unlock" more of the infinite space on them, they have a data capacity limited by the components inside, which exist in physical reality. An analogy would be a bunch of buckets clustered together that can be filled with "virtual" liquid but not overfilled. Technically software on your hard drive takes up physical space, and is actual property.

  • @dyne313 Also, distinguishing Starry Night displayed on a monitor from Starry Night painted on canvas and calling one information and the other property is splitting hairs. Videogames contain digital artwork, and are artwork in their own right. What's displayed on screen is an extremely fast slideshow whose slides are not predefined by the creator, but are still images they worked hard to create.

The Steam platform is an example of small teams, huge teams and individuals can all see a return.

  • @dyne313 That's stupid and short-sighted. Do you really think in an IP-less environment you'd see today's gaming industry? Our current IP law sucks, but IP law is necessary. To put it very simply, what's the incentive for someone to create when they can't profit off their creation? Sure, they may do it out of love, but they have to eat, too, and that means they'll have a job, and the creation will never get the attention it deserves. We can magically copy art, but we can't magically copy food.

  • @DSMatticus You say IP law is necessary. But under any reasonable IP law, a person would be kidnapped and held against their will, or their property stolen if they digitally copied somebodies "Intellectual" property. And that's wrong.

If I steal your car, you lose something. But If I make a digital copy of your music, you've lost nothing.

  • @dyne313 I believe you mean "incarcerated" or "fined." Murderers are also 'kidnapped and held against their will,' because it's bad for society when we let them murder people.

Also, you're pointing out that piracy isn't theft, but that wasn't my point. I explained why PIRACY is bad, I didn't explain why piracy was theft, because piracy isn't theft. You didn't refute my point at all (that piracy destroys the financial incentive to be creative, thus reducing the volume of creativity in society).

  • @DSMatticus In a way piracy is theft. It would be like hiring someone to mow my yard and not paying them for completing the task I hired them to perform in the first place. I am denying them their just compensation. This is exactly what pirates are doing to software developers and publishers.

  • @RobbieDownerJr DRM is like the gardener tearing up your lawn and expecting compensation

  • Games with DRM protection end up on torrents on the same they of their release...

  • Amazing video, I had a lot of fun!

  • And the funniest thing about this DRM is that it wont effect the pirates at all!!! It is freaking impossible to create a DRM that will stop piracy, there will ALWAYS be a way to crack it! The only difference will be how fast some one will be able to come up with a crack, which always is a matter of days, days to make a crack for a DRM that took months/years to develop! LAUGHING MY FUCKING ASS OFF! I simply can't understand why they even care to try! They are so desperate! HAHAHA, losers.

  • Whoops, guess I should watch the whole video before commenting.

  • Pirates get a game for free with no problems

Paying customers get a product with a bunch of shit attached to it

    Its our problem

    wat

  • I stopped purchasing Ubisoft games. Until Prince of Persia 2 Warrior Within, Ubisoft meant excellent games: stable, well polished, with good graphics and excellent gameplay. Then something changed. I don't know what, but something DID change. Now, Ubisoft means broken games. Ubisoft means unfinished products. Ubisoft means customers being cheated with eye-candy and lots of bugs, that will NEVER be fixed, thus leaving paying people with a broken product.

Thanks, but no thanks: I'll save my money.

  • *Completely* stops piracy? Go look on torrent sites.

  • @Racecar564 *punches you in the nads*

/Facepalm..dude, hes making fun...of the DRM...did you even watch the whole thing? just about anyone that was a customer for UBI is now against them (well i am). Never again will the "Universal Bloated Idiots" take my money n run.

  • lol lost connection to youtube drm

  • I won't buy these games. Even though I have a perfect internet connection most of the time, the only time that I play single player games is when my connection goes away. Having single player that requires internet just doesn't work for me. I'll stick with silent hunter 4.

  • Ubisoft? More like NewbieSoft/NubiSoft! lol

  • Skidrow cracked your precious DRM the day it was released.

  • @jutahj2 Razor1911 did it first. Fuck man, Reloaded and Unleashed also claimed they cracked it.

  • you-be-soft not oobee soft.

  • I clicked dislike becuse I thought this was a pro Ubisoft video, I clicked dislike before I saw this whole video.

  • Everyone thumbs up if your gonna pirate every game insted of buying it, till they remove that dumbass DRM!

  • Whether they use DRM or not, a game will eventually end up pirated. It's just up to ubisoft to decide whether they'd like to make their legitimate customers pay for the privelage of hampered gameplay or not.

  • Comment removed

  • Brilliant.

  • lol my friend got so tired of this DRM that he is now pirating all the games he gets from Ubisoft. lol.

  • PC gaming won't die just the companies who use restrictive DRM will die.

If EA and Ubisoft are not making PC games someone else will.

  • LOL nice scarcastic approch, I loved the Youtube DRM server thing!

  • Voting with your wallet is the best way to deal with this. Boycott Blizzard-Activision, Ubisoft, EA etc. All these major game publishers only care about making money, their stock prices, and not about making games fun.

I long for the days when games were made by small studios. Tech and graphics were not that great in those days, but the games produced were fun and still memorable even after many years.

See how Ubisoft screwed up HoMM5? It now wants to make a 6th, which will be worse.

  • @papalolita A company that doesn't care about making money isn't a company. I'm sure they care about their games but the end result has to be profitable. That's why so many of those small studios you talked about were either absorbed into larger companies or went bankrupt.

Can you tell me a game company that doesn't care about making money so I can go get their games for free?

  • @papalolita ya and those small companies actually are these big companies of 2010,so stfu

  • fuck bastard drm i cant play assassins creed 2.fuck you about 6 month cant play assassi9ns creed 2

  • @pipech121 LOL crack it O.o skidrow fucked their drm so just download the crack and play ;)

  • If PC gaming dies I know why. Becuse of all these bullshit spyware programs developers force us to install and people get so pissed so they download it illegally.

  • It is now legal to crack your retail purchased games. I read the article on tom's hardware. It may not solve anything, other than you can play your game without the shitty drm. Thumb up to tell the world!

  • hahahahaha good video man fuck drmm fuck ubisoft

  • Let's vote with our wallet!

  • 3 reasons you're an idiot:

    you support ubisoft's drm

    you support drm in general

you support giving more money to publishers/developers

less development teams, the better. a hundred call of duty clones from a hundred different companies is pointless anyway.

  • How exactly did they completely stop piracy? Its not possible to spoof a fake server or send false packets? DRM will never work. Because once I have the game on my computer I can disable anything I want trick it into thinking anything. This is how it works this is how it will always work. Spore wasn't successful because it really wasn't a very good game. People stole it because they thought it was interesting but not worth spending money on.

  • just another bunch of fucks that support obama on controlling what people do on the internet

  • I went to a gamestop to buy a game, saw Splinter Cell: convinction and immediately wanted to buy it (i BUYED ALL of the other splinter cell games) then i saw that internet connection was needed for the fucking DRM, and despite i have it i REFUSED to buy it, cause DRM is a true shit! take this middle finger up your ass Ubisoft .I.

CONNECTION LOST TO YOUTUBE DRM SERVER . . . .

    FUCK You!!!11OneONE!11

  • I lol'd my ass off. I thought this was gonna be serious. You had me, up until the video started :p. It's so funny cuz it's so relateable. Watch my Let's Play of Splinter Cell Conviction, the connection bugs out and I bitch about it frequently.

  • SUCK MY DICK UBISOFT

  • i love this vid =)

  • Three reasons Ubisoft's DRM is good:

According to this vid:Reason Nr 1:NONE

According to this vid:Reason Nr 2:NONE

According to this vid:reason Nr 3:NONE

    R:nil

  • I see what you did there.

  • I was gonig to buy Assassin's Creed 2, till I found out about their DRM. Then recently was looking into buying Settlers 7, to stem my Civilization 5 craving... Till I also found out that it uses the same fucking DRM.

Whoevers idea to implement this must have a silver tongue and be a competitor. Because I can not see in anyway, shape or form of how this positively impacts the company.

  • The Question is not about the DRM, it is WHY THA FAK DID YA CREATE A PEDOBEAR SPORE!??! O.o

And I thought AC1 was the most pirated game. Seriously, that shit was EVERYWHERE!. I didn't even know Spore had a DRM xP

  • im fine with drm as long as it doesnt affect customers. Think about it. Developers started making you have the dvd in the computer and a few weeks later nocd cracks came out. Ubisoft started doing this and offline servers come out. I used to love ubisoft, and now look what they've done. You can't avoid PC piracy, you just have to ignore it and keep selling your product

  • Came in expecting boot licking to Ubisoft, left pleasantly surprised.

  • I trully gave up buying 3 games from Ubisoft this year (setlers, assassins creed 2 and prince of persias -sot) ... Sorry ubisoft my money goes toward something less offensive .Games are made to make you have fun not piss you off...

  • Stops piracy? DRM was cracked less than 24 hours xD. Nice one Ubisoft!

  • @Flegmatica I thought it took like 1 month for them to make the game, to play without crashing at sequence 8

  • SPORE was so heavily pirated because of its idiotic DRM. It appeled to the same crowd that plays SIMS and once those games got a lighter DRM scheme their piracy was curbed.

And the same applies to the stupid UBISOFT releases.

Badly made overhyped games and cretinous DRm schemes is what causes piracy.

  • Really good satire! Thumbs up

  • good one xD reminded me of the Daily show

  • this video sucks, you suck go and fuck yourself!

  • Yesterday i wold never fink of downloading a game with crack... but after downloading ( and paying) splinter cell conviction on steam i am now seriously finking of it. Ubsoft made the cracked game better than the original one.

  • so many people don't get the satire

  • lol ubisoft spent (quite possibly) millions to buy hardware, develop, and test this DRM that ends up soiling their name. It is such a horrible implementation that people unaware of DRM in the past are now refusing to buy anything with a Ubisoft stamp on it.

Recap: Ubi spends millions to circumvent stealing and 3rd party buying, but ends up obliterating their customer base... hahahahahaha idiots, oh the irony!

  • that was funny!XD

  • lol but it doesnt work.

  • Haha. Nice. I clicked this video all ready to rage. Instead I lol'd. Good job.

  • this video is BULLSHIT!!!!!!

  • @2misterA

    no your BULLSHIT!!!!!!

  • I have a crappy internet connection, and I figured I could at least play singleplayer games seeing as I can't play multiplayer, but nooooo... and I also wanted splinter cell real bad but I guess I can't now. Thanks Ubisoft.

  • @goofygooberism atleast they could have included some kind of offline guest mode or something.

  • I pirated this game, and it was shit. I stopped playing when I realized that the game was gonna autoaim for me, for example when a guard spotted me. Dumbed-down gameplay is even worse than shitty gameplay, so I salute the warez guys for giving me the opportunity to demo this game.

  • That bastard DRM made sure I didn't buy AC2 and didn't exactly help Settlers either.

Had I known that EA would've turned Bioware's Ray Muzyka into a liar, I probably wouldn't have bought Dragon Age either.

It doesn't come DIRECTLY with DRM, but the first piece of Dragon Age DLC and you'll have to be logged in to play. What The Fuck? They made an official statement claiming it would have no DRM whatsoever, just a single disc check. And I've been having an unstable connection. Faggots.

  • Ubisoft m'ont volé pour la dernière fois. Ce DRM est la preuve qu'il ne faut plus acheter de jeux de cette compagnie...mais il faut plutôt les pirater. Dont buy Splinter Cell Conviction, boycott this shit!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SPLINTERCELL SUCKS

  • Youtube has a DRM server...

  • I like the part in Splinter Cell Conviction where it says "Failed to connect to the Ubisoft Master Server". You know. The part where the game never starts. Fucking amazing.

  • sarcasm videos are as annoying as drm.

  • hahah best doze of sarcasm i heard in a long time :)

  • The BEST video on YouTube about the STILL UNCRACKED but EMULATED UBI DRM! ( incorrect ) protection scheme ;)

  • i really liked this haha

  • AC2 DRM is a shit. Result Piracy wins , legit users lose

-Piracy users can play offline , legit users cannot.(need internet connection)

-Piracy users didn t pay anything , legits users have paid (expensive game)

-Piracy users can finish the game without problems , legit usersmay face the servers going down , so they cannot play

Ubi wasted their money making this DRM , frustrating at same time who buy this game.AC2 is a great game , but the only way to win piracy is to reduce the game price.

  • pc games suffer not because of piracy. video game companies think it is due to piracy and try to develop more advance security and ended up with shitty games. piracy is not the problem for pc BECAUSE YOU CAN ALSO PIRATE PS3/XBOX GAMES TOO YOU DUMB CEO OF UBI! OH NOS people will find out and pirate consoles too. too late. ubi delay ac2bro on pc so all pirates on xbox/ps3 got it first.

all rts games (a platform unique to pc) are dead. want to pay $200 for rts? no new/future rts releases.

  • years ago when i was still undergrad i wanted to become a video game designer inspired by many video games. i gave up that dream because video game companies are dying. you can tell that by looking at their quality not just on pc. pure shitty. these days the companies just recycle old games or make shitty games. they know they are making shitty games and they still make them anyway. i dont understand why. if they have no budget for a "good" game then why make shitty games instead?

  • this guy who made this video made me and my mates laugh for hours. lord that was too funny

  • understand the sacarsm. looool

  • Thanks to Skydrow! Its finally done!

Have Fun playing AC2 without DRM. ;)

  • @IronJackalTw oh my god, not you again

  • @IronJackalTw hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha what a fail idea. Oh wait, haven't I seen you somewhere else? Oh yes, the "video games can be art" video where you posted similarly failed comments, until someone owned you rofl

  • just make the games cheaper and people will buy butmake them expensive and people get piret versions and with the drm even users that have money will play piratet version.Thats not the way.

  • Lol epic m8

  • Ubisoft already lost me with that stupid HOMM5... But still: DRM is no way to get me back.

  • For years now the game industry has been racking its brains trying to figure out a way to charge people a monthly fee for single player games. Ubisoft's DRM is only the beginning.

  • If they were right, why wouldn't you support the steam platform anyways, you fucking retards?

  • drm's been cracked 100% ...maybe now theyll pull that cock out of their asses and stop putting that shit in games

  • I never had an errors or problems with the DRM o.o

  • @ruthlessebk yeah me either. i have a ton of games that use drm on my pc, and never had a problem once.

  • @ghostspider i second that

  • HAHAHAHAH SO GOOD!!!! :D

  • haha funny vid. I tought from title that this is sort of FAN boy vid :) DRM lol its so bad that legit users suffering and others just dont give a f*** LOL I was curious what this DRM shit will do and everywhere on net I see only negative opinions :D hahaha DRM is useles because piracy is not bad as some may say. Thanx to piracy many players playing cracked version will buy game. Many people want to try out game. Not all games have good demos so good test drive is needed :]

  • I don't get how these people think.what if i have 10 friends whom i lend each at a time the one copy i bought to play will this be considered piracy will i be prosecuted their logic is laughable.the only act against art or data that i consider piracy is profiting from work u don't own.

  • There will always be piracy of games you can't stop it only delay it abit. I know people who had this game cracked, up and running a few weeks ago.

I PAYED for the game. and the DRM UPDATER wont let me play. cause it crashes i've sent like 23423423423 msg's to ubisoft about, not replys. The only thing ubisoft has done is gotten more of the piracy players get this game play-able. and for those who bought it there are few who can play it.

Ps i think this guy in the video is gay

  • AC2 was cracked by Skidrow?

  • The day piracy is defeated will be the same when I will celebrate my 200th birthday...which will never happen...
