  • Quick Boomerang. Kills dragons DEAD.

  • ughh terrible remix

  • I still remember the first time I fought this boss. I was like "doo dee doo" cool as you please then all of a sudden HUGE FUCKING DRAGON OH MY GOD!!!

  • This fight would be hard but the boss dies too fast. It's a bit better on difficult mode.

  • i'd tell you to use the phasing through his fireballs trick to beat him in 5 seconds, but this version might not have that :\

  • This isn't the NES version, what are you playing it on?

  • what console is this??? it's totally different from the NES version

  • @fyrestorme123 probably its the Wii with a remake of the game, there are a bunch of them u can order ;)

  • Bubbles weapon are even greater.

  • I liked in the original NES version, the dragon would just appear out of nowhere with no warning. This one had a life bar show up letting you know something was there.

  • whats with the crappy music. Sounsd really shitty compared to he original.

  • @volvo145 Sounds really fucking awesome, on par with the original*. There, fixed it for you.

  • @thedonoftrek no it has that draggy SNES feeling to it, even though its not an SNES game.

  • The backing track to the music sounds fantastic, it's the lead synth. they fucked up on.

  • In Japanese, the dragon would be called Tetsu no Ryu meaning Iron Dragon.

  • i won that dragon much faster with mega buster

  • Is this Anniversary Collection? Is the music like this in the game?

  • Why is everyone complaining about the music?

  • @arthurarneiro Because nes version is much better

  • @murotin112 Yeah, I know, but you have the option of hearing the 8-bit version of the songs in MM Aniversary Collection, and, if you don't like the music, just turn the sound off!

  • When I first saw that dragon, I was like "Wee! Jumping is fun! Hm? Screen shift? But why? Not like there's a boss or any-HOLY SH*T!"

  • Way to fuck up the music. I mean seriously... MM2 is reputed to have some of the best 8-bit video game music of all time and then they give us this crap? Yes we're more technologically advance then we were 20 years ago, but this is a good example of less being more.

  • I found that the only really affective weapon is the mega buster....probably just me...but none of the specials dished out more then 1 damage.

  • Comment removed

  • What remis is this? I like it.

  • use the atomic fire. It's the strongest againt the dragon

  • @chefkoo JUST USE THE MEGA buster and you'll be fine

  • @FireWing404 Yah I'll be fine but I'll be MORE fine if I use atomic fire.

  • Megaman is like his own version of a knight in shinning armor fighting against a mechanical dragon. Now just imagine how it'd be like for Zero since he has a sword!

  • why bring up the consol wars on a video about a fucking nes game?

  • If you can get past this douche dragon, the rest of the game is easy by comparison

  • can some one tell me why the life bar of megaman and the life barn of the mecha dragon are diferent? and why the music changed? can some one tell me plz? i am kinda confused!!

  • This is a port or a "re-release" of Megaman 2. I think this is the one on the Playstation, part of the 6 disk Complete Works set.

  • Both Complete Works and the Navi Mode from the Anniversary Collection

  • this is an arranged re release of the game that was done on ps1 and ps2.

  • This is from the Mega Man Anniversary Collection (PS2 and Gamecube)

  • That Dragon was so fucking cheap.

  • Tell me about it. When I got to the part first time i was just jumping the platforms when all of the sudden the dragon popped out of nowhere and killed me and it pissed me off. Seriously, how the fuck could anyone predict that!?

  • the dragon is also seen in i wanna be the guy as the boss

  • he a mini boss , from the entrance of the guy

  • mini boss my ass hes harder than all of the bosses like quick flash metal and air man

  • this is the easiest boss in the game...

  • Wow...he is so much harder in IWBTG

  • Everything is harder in I Wanna Be The Guy.

  • execpt mike tyson

  • is the music at the beggening before you went aganst the boss in the game if its not could you tell me whats it called

  • It the original music from the NES game just different version.

  • The version from Power Fighters, IIRC.

  • that music sucks compared to the original!!

  • Noo it's so much better!

  • I played this on ipod touch and it is almost impossible to beat that dragon...

  • the dragon looks like hes retared still cool video

  • I think I prefer my Megaman more retro than that sir!

  • @Twisttheawesome

Oh, I'm sorry sir, would a little bit of more retro in that Megaman?

  • This is classic Mega Man the way Mega Man was meant to be. These games were awesome.

  • Pink Mega man was the shit!!!

  • That dragon still looks incredible. That's a 16 bit boss in an 8 bit game.

  • hey, what remix is this of the fortress theme? where did you get it? It's awesome

  • PS2 Anniversary Collection

  • Its also rockman 2 complete works album

  • This isnt the ps2 version this is some messed up remake. If people are gonna make a remake they shouldnt fuck it up by fucking with the music and changing stuff around. The dragons also sposed to be on the right not the left. Man gotta love pink birthday cake quickman megaman lol.

  • Uh..no, this really is the PS2 version...

  • Weird cus I have megaman aniversy and 1st of all the games on the ps2 version are exactly like the old 1s down to the music. So I dont know where u get the idea this is the ps2 version. Maybe gaycube killed the series with having these gay effects but not the ps2 version.

  • HARDCORE NINTENDO FAN RIGHT HERE K

Also all 3 versions have Navi Mode and Original Mode. On the PS2 and maybe Xbox, Navi Mode has remixed music while original mode is exactly the same as the NES versions. (Music and all.) The Gamecube disks are smaller and have less memory, so they didn't put in the remixed music in the Gamecube version.

    Also Gamecube > PS2.

Not saying PS2 is bad but Gamecube had way more games k.

  • Gamecube was great dude. Lots of great games. And it didn't die quick, either. 2001 - 2007 isn't half bad btw. I wouldn't say it "died quick." The Dreamcast "died quick". (1999-2001)

Yeah, PS2 is still being supported but that's only because the piece of shit PS3 isn't doing well and people still like their PS2s. Right now, my console target is a PS2.

  • "PS3 is awsum its just still pretty new so theres not alot of good games", huh? It was released around the same time as the Wii and XBox 360. Your point is moot. Face it, your beloved Sony just fucked up and you're too stubborn to admit it. Go screw with a DVD player.

By the way, you said that the PS3 needed more games, then that having a lot of games doesn't make a system great. Paradooox~

tl;dr: If you love PS3s so much, get one and play it instead of assing up the Internet.

  • The PS3 came out EIGHT DAYS BEFORE THE WII you stupid fuck. The xbox 360 apparently came out a year earlier though. Either way you slice it, you're wrong. But I guess it was better to be wrong about the xbox than the wii. The PS3 still had about two and a half years to get good games from the time it appeared, so don't even try and defend it.

  • Looks like SOMEONE didn't get a GameCube when they offerred to suck Santa off. :D

  • You're both fucking faggots.

  • Wow, way to bring up something I forgot about two weeks ago. =\

...Seriously, I looked at my email inbox and was like "What the hell?"

  • Good for you.

  • I like chocolate.

  • I bet you do, chuppa chups.

  • pork chops?

  • What has the new version done to the awesome theme for dr wilys stage?

  • didnt the ps2 version have remixes abd the gc version didnt

  • I don't need to know anything about the series (which I don't) to know that boss is one of the best I've seen. Or atleast the most awesome looking.

  • It's not wrong to disagree with a choice in weapon.

Try a turbo function with the quick boomerang. You won't even have to move.

  • Heh, I defeated this boss in the first time when I was 3 (15 years ago), but I respect the perfect fight you got here. The remixes isn't very bad though...

  • i believe you

  • ...Look like people don't believe on me. That was my favorite game when I was little. It was on 1992 or 93, I was 3 or 4. It my favorite NES game far from any other...

But I never finished the game when I was little, I missed the game and then I bought the RockMan 2 complete works, for Playstation (about 2001/2002) and finally beat the game... yay

  • On a music-related note, the Dr. Wily Fortress remixed music from 2 is my favorite theme. And 2 happens to be the one game I can't GET to the fortress on. All the others, I can beat.

  • That boss had to be the hardest in Mega Man 2. He toasted me so many times if I didn't have all the bonuses.

  • meh i find the megabuster or heatmans weapon to work better on him

  • meh, you're wrong about the mega buster. I sure can't wait to see your video! I'm sure it'll blow mine out of the water!

  • uhh about that i dont have anaversury(spelling XD) collection T-T. so i dont know how well the megabuster is on it, but the nes version its a good choice. i also dont have any camera or recording programs XD

  • The mega buster *IS* the better option, and I learned this through trying both several times. Turns out the damage is virtually the same, with the exception that the mega buster has superior range. Thus, you can kill the dragon faster!

  • That dragon used to scare me when I was a kid.

  • Same here! I thought the dragon was pretty intimidating! The boss battle music made it even more intense!

  • I could never get past this guy lol

  • megaman 2 is the friikin' best in the series!

  • I actually like the Dr. Wily song in this game. Anyone know where I could download it?

  • yes it is true that the capital of new mexico is santa fe!

  • What a stupid comment.

  • How is that stupid? That is the capital! The fact that I know that is smart and you are just a dumbhead. So you are a dummy. hahahahahahah. STUPID!!!! lolololololololercoaster hahahah you are dummypants!

  • The fact that THAT has nothing to do with this video means you're the dumbass/dumbell/dummy/whatever. Thus, you and your comment is stupid.

  • That has EVERYTHING to do with this video plain and simple, if you dont understand that then you are indeed a dummy. hahaha. You are infact the one that is stupid. I win. U=stupid

  • Mexico has absolutely nothing to do with Mega Man. Thus, the real fact is you're stupid and I win.

  • First of all it is NEW Mexico and second of all Megaman was born in Taos near the capital which is Santa Fe so I win. Protoman was also born in Gallup New Mexico and Snakeman is from the New Mexico desert. So Mr. Stupid looks like I win.

  • First of all, it doesn't matter if I say Mexico or "NEW Mexico". Second of all, what you posted has absolutely NOTHING to do with what's going on in this video. Thus, you're stupid and I win (again).

  • I didn't enjoy the remixes (except for MM6's...which sadly are muffled on the PS2), the hints, updated sub-screens, updated weapon meters, etc. and the full original versions is good enough for me.

About the video. It's official: you're an expert at the Mega Man games. Congrats! I give this vid 4 stars.

  • Congratulations yarzac, your video is god. The music remixed is too

  • I rated it 4; nice effort on including the remix, but I do agree that most people watching these out of nostalgia would prefer the original music.

  • Except, this whole collection was made for nostalgia sake. After playing these games to death as a child, it was nice to have a slightly updated experience. In this case, I think many watching and listening are complaining because they're purists, not for the sake of nostalgia.

  • Fair comment; I still think it was enjoyable, and thank you for the effort.

  • The remixed music sucks. I prefer the original.

  • Original music kicks tons more ass than the remixed bullshit that was made for the dumbass "Navi Mode"!

  • I agree.

  • The music they used for Navi Mode wasn't made for it, they used the remixes from Power Battle and Power Fighters. And you do know you can switch off Navi Mode, right?

  • Yeah, I know that I can switch off Navi Mode!

  • Can you tell me where you got the Mechadragon music remix from? That one is sweet, but I can't find it anymore.

  • This is me playing the PS2 version of the Anniversary Collection in Navi mode. The remixed music isn't available in the Gamecube version FYI--Just the XBox and the PS2 versions.

  • Unless you count the fact that MM2: The Power Fighters is in the GC version, and the fact that most of the remixed music comes from that game.

  • But I don't.

  • Well it is a fact that most of them do exist in the GC version, they're just not heard when playing MM 1-6.

  • Might be just me, but I think the original sounds and looks better. I don't even know what console this is on.
