Camp David was not a process from which (from a US/Israeli perspective) a viable, independent, free Palestinian state would be formed, but one in which the Palestinians would accept Israeli political, economic, and military domination. Arafat quite rightly rejected this.
The Palestians would have had a state in name (with a flag, an anthem, etc.), but the Palestinian state would be economically and politically subservient to Israel. They would not control their borders or their economy, their country would be divided by Israeli-only roads, and they would have a capital in a suburb of Jerusalem.
Clinton was also a Zionist. Arafat rightfully rejected the Israeli "offer" at Camp David, which was not giving Palestinians a fully sovereign state. Zionists always claim that Palestinians rejected a fair two-state solution, which is totally nonsense and preposterous. The Palestinians were offered far less than true statehood by the US and Israelis.
much better to iranian president to make MORE.. PERSIAN CARPET so they can help the PEOPLE profit. NOT A MISSILE ONE.. ITS A DESTRUCTIVE..??? CARPET IS A GLOBAL ECONOMY..DONT BE CRAZY MR PRESIDENT....??? THINK THE ECONOMY OF IRAN //// DO IT MORE CARPET TO SELL AROUND THE WORLD... ALI ...BABA...
wtf are you talking about? You're a fucking Filipino. Go sell your mother and sister on the side of the street and let us worry about Persian carpets. fuck off.
the only way of salvation for new gen. in iran is to erase islam from iran, and it will happen, cause we as iranian new gen. knows what was khomeini and the damages he brought to our land with the name of islam
absolute nonsense! Iran is not after nuclear weapons but energy. Israel rivalry with Iran dates back many decade well before the Iranian revolution of 1979. Iran becoming a major power will undermine Israel and makes Iran a more attractive partner for US. This is a nightmare scenario for Israel whose existence is fast becoming a liability for US. Today, Israel is pulling every string, mobilizing every lobby, and every card they have to stop Iran in its tracks before its too late.
I absolutely agree, Iran would be so much more useful as an ally to the US than Israel and they would also be "cheaper" :/ The only reasons why this hasn't happened yet are ideological.
US has put Iran in a position where she feels she has to support Palestinians because of US unconditional support of Israel and its overzelous aggression. Palestinians throws rocks and they get rocked back with missiles and bombs where thousands of homes and cities get destroyed. Palestinians shoud get rid of Hamas and Hezbollah and directly engage with Israel in a diplomatic manner. It is very difficult to nurture this idealogy when you are surranded with death, destruction and anger.
Majority of Iranians have nothing against Israel or the jews for sure regardless of being Moslem or not. This is not a religious issue. Iran is protecting her idea of protecting those who can not protect themselves.
Iranians have nothing against the US but are very nationalist and the scare tactics of G.W. Bush backfired and only gave more credibility to the Iranina regime that if we do not unit as a nation, US will attack us next. Obama has every chance to reverse US perception in Iran.
As an Iranian American I have something against AIPAC and the military complex special interest who are benefiting from war in the Middle East at the cost of American lives and US tax dollars.
Questioning my nationalism behind ur computer is not too bold, given the fact if u knew me you wouldn't do so. For that ur comment doesn't warrant a response, but just so u know I would gladly remove the American from Iranian when the Islamic Republic is dropped.
You must be fresh off the boat (FOB), but I see why u were not granted residence status in the U.S. If you r ever in S. Cali I'll give u my contact info so I could beat the Arab out of u and show you what an Iranian American is. It is easy to talk shit behind the computer. Don't F*** waste my time FOB.
lol I'm literally lmao. So fucking pathetic. The amount of nonsense and irrelevant bs in your responses are mind boggling. I don't know if talking like blacks and calling people "FOB" is considered cool in your neck of woods but where I live we consider your kind losers without a country. You're trying so fucking hard to fit in that you have lost every ounce of your irooniness and the ironic thing here is that you're calling me an arab
I'm a 26 year old working prof. that despises ur kind: those who don't know the diff. between a nationality and a ethnicity b/c of their own insecurity. Whether that insecurity be from the Arab like manners u have displayed or being a vatan foroosh who tries to feel good by cowardly attacking others on the web. But make no mistake about it that i will respond and strike back. One more thing don't ever claim to be from Shiraz, which was once beautiful till ur kind migrated there after the war.
Long live the 8,000-year-old native Aryan tribes of West & Central Asia (Turks, Persians, Turkemans, Kurds, Khorasanis, Parthians, Uzbeks, Baluchs, Tajiks, Lors, Azeris, Hazaras, Bakhtiaris, Gujratis, etc.). The 500-year-old artificially-forced evil division of motherland: "IRAN" ("Land of Aryans") into "nations" is about to self-implode. Down with evil "Divide&Rule" policy of anti-human Zionists & NEOCOS, components of US Weapons industry.
My reading of the recent problem in Gaza is that Egypt and Saudi Arabia are willing to sacrifice Palestinians in order to archive peace in the region.
I think it would be beneficial for Iranian as well as American to solve their problems through negotiation. This will help USA to have a strong ally in Middle East and help Iranian to join the rest of the world again and build their country and democracy.
History has shown that Iran has never invaded any country. In fact Iran is most stable country in the region.
I believe Obama has to slam the British and Bush policy and start a honest relation with Iran.

He admits its only gov perception that iran wants nukes
He also says that if iran wants a nuclear power program its ok, but up to now the US wouldnt even allow talks for even a nuclear power program
Because we refused to negotiate with them on any issue, saying it was our way or the highway, we havent had the ability to gain any useful access to their facilities
We need to treat them like they are truthful and get in, and only when we find proof otherwise, be tougher with them
Iran doesn't even have nuclear weapons or the capability even in hand.. anymore. Allowing the Iranians to produce those weapons for its defense will bring stability to the middle east. It must because Israel sure as hell isn't doing it now.
Its sad that dems and repubs in US are still claiming iran has weapons like its a fact. They never have proof but speculation seems to be enough for them.
As if there is no legitimate reason to want nuclear power despite other countries also focusing heavily on it as a power source.
Besides, it would be pointless to worry about Iran having a nuclear bomb since they are far outpowered and know they wouldnt accomplish anything with it.
To assume they are that mad is a failure on our part.
In regards to situation, israel never once shown proof of any accusations they have made. I am sure hamas is dangerous idealistic, but look to history. They rose from an occupied people who were strangled for decades before its creation. they looked to their texts like all religions do, for strength.

Iran supports Hezbullah & we do not hide that fact
Iran support 4 Hamas is only a support 4 D Palestinians
Iran only supports Hamas diplomatically & financially because they were elected.
Iran does not give weapons 2 Hamas
If tomorrow Palestinians vote Hamas out of power Iran will not support Hamas & D diplomatic & financial support will go 2 D new gov.
If Iran was 2 give Weapons 2 Hamas we would give them Anti-ship Missiles, UAV, modern anti-tank Missiles, snipers, etc like we did 2 Hezbullah
FB44lion 3 years ago 4
- In terms of D right 2 vote, Womens rights, Minority rights, Freedom of Religion, science, etc Iran is D most moderate Muslim country
Saudi Women don't even have D right 2 drive yet they R moderates. LOL
- D day U.S. takes all its troops Out of D M.E., Iran will give up Hezbullah witch is never.
- Iran supports any democratically elected Palestinian Gov & not just Hamas, if it changes so b it
- Once Iran stopped being a U.S. puppet Iran started 2 grow that is a fact so U have 2 change not us

They have a few times in the past asked for peace with reasonable demands, such as release on occupation and choking of gaza.
They did also keep the truce after all.
We need to recognise them for peace to come.
Look to Hezbollah for the example.
