yes i've seen some MacBooks that are pretty beat to shit out there. i like the case, but it does seems to have picked up some slack over the months i have had it, on the bottom piece, back right corner, where only the shape of the plastic keeps it against the laptop. overall, a great protective case, but...it does seem rather overpriced for a piece of injection molded plastic.

oh also there is a note in the packaging that tells you to remove it every so often in order to clear and pieces of dirt or debris that may have slipped in between the speck and the laptop. if there is dirt in there, and you leave it, it could potentially scratch your laptop.

I'm torn between the black and clear case. Clear seems like scratches would show more, but black would get hot outside? Help me decide plz!! Does it feel rubberish like it's sticky? Also does it get hotter in the case with a cpu heating software program running?
