I do enjoy Twilight for it's cheesy teenage goodness, but in no way does it even come close to touching the quality of Harry Potter. Harry Potter has so many different layers to it, and there are actually characters that you can relate to as opposed to unrealistic characters with no personalities.

Its sad but true. I used to love twilight, and still do a tiny bit. But I just cant stand it that much anymore, belles such a flake. Because my sister finished the book before I did and told me someone died in that chapter, I though she meant hermoine (because Hermione was being tortured at the time), and I was crying for like ten minutes until she told me it was dobby. As both a Harry Potter and Twilight fan I would argue that very few Twilight fans think it is greater than Harry Potter. I think Twilight is more a temporary substitute to fill the aching void left when finishing book 7. I view Harry Potter as amazing literature and Twilight as a fantastic guilty pleasure.

But how freakin' awesome is it that in this age of technology people are age are having intelligent debates about the merits of books. This bodes well for the future.
