The specs are not incredible, it's AMD Athlon 64 3000+ proc, 512MB DDR1 RAM, GF6200 video card. I'm not brave enough to install Vista in this computer. Just search in google "how to dualboot vista with linux vista installed first" and follow first link, that's it.

I have windows vista, and i think it runs great. So i don't know what you're talking about, but Vista works fine. Can't blame me for saying it works good, you have to blame Vista for working good. If you use a Debian based Linux distribution you have a ton of programs available. Go to Debian,org and check out the packages. Its all free. Im sorry if so called Linux supporters are rude on youtube. Please note that they are all fools. All it takes is a small portion of your time to learn it and you will never have to pay for software again. Thats what I did.

GIMP is more of a graphics editor than photoshop, and easeir to use. Dreamweaver is a rubish webpage editor, if your gonna consider paying for that then I recomend you try Amaya, it's fully standard compliant (unless you manualy edit it)and is a web browser as well.

Beryl actually helps productiviy. It's nice to be able to work on 4 desktop surfaces instead of just one like in windows or OSX. I've gone hours without minimizing anything. Wobbly windows, fire effects, I admit, they just make it more fun, but the cube isn't just for show.
