If a scout does something embarrassing in camp, it would get a uniform response. If you want to ge rid of a scout, don't tell him to take a hike. If a scout goes on a long hike, does he get a tenderfoot? If a scout passes gas, that would be a rank fart.
Boy scouts faggots eh??? Atleast when we grow up we will know how to run the country and actually be the sucessful ones unlike you. you'll just be another discgrace to america you fucking queer
Oh really dipshit? You think tying knots and pitching tents will lead to your success? Go for it than. I also see the boy scouts have taught you such excellent manners.
@RobertLuongDick The point of boy scouts is to teach you leadership skills and character, 2 things which will lead sucess. And we don't just tie knots and go camping. We encourage scouts to be active in their community and to join sports teams or other things outside of scouts. We learn about finance, 1st aid, and different career fields. You clearly know nothing about scouts. And you need to remeber each troop is different. Some maybe really awsome and some maybe really stupid.
@bsamendotatroop True I don't know much about boy scouts. But I do know they discriminate against homosexuals, atheists, and chicks. Now tell me, what kind of person with a good moral compass and character would treat people from these groups like sh!t regardless of how good-hearted they (homos, atheists, and chicks) are or how important they are to their communities.
@RobertLuongDick On the issue of homos I'm personally neutral so I won't comment. The issue with athiest is that Scouting was founded on relious morals. We don't discriminate against Muslims or buddist or other religions. It's just the more offen the not athiest do not have any moral compass whatsoever. And to be our troop has an agnostic and an athiest but we know they have good charatacer. And boy scouts founded venture and explorer scouts both co-ed. That's not something girl scouts can say.
@bsamendotatroop Well. It says on your guys' website that "the scout oath represents the basic values of scouting and it addresses the 'duty to god' before a duty to country, others, and self." Sound familiar? (this is pretty much the credo of Al Queda. I dunno about your personal troop, but the Boy Scouts official website says that homosexuals and nonreligious persons are incapable of ever becoming suitable role models for the community.
@RobertLuongDick If you want to go believing that you can it's your right. But you need to know this. There are many boy scouts who are trying their best and are trying to make their community and country better. It's not something you see a lot of now days. At least most of these kids aren't doing drugs or are in gangs or doing some other B.S.
@bsamendotatroop It's not a 'belief.' It says so on the official BSA website... Yeah, there are a lot of good ppl in boyscouts. No arguments there. What I'm saying is that the Boyscouts of America organization is super hypocritical. And joining boyscouts does not keep you from doing drugs. It gives you activities to do, but obviously it's not there 24-7 for you. In fact, I know a few scouts and former scouts who smoke weed and party pretty often.
@bsamendotatroop Now as for atheists having no moral compass, why is it that Christians, who constitute about 75% of the US, make up 75% of jail inmates while Atheists, who only constitute about 10% of the US, only make up 0.09% of jail inmates.
@RobertLuongDick There are many people who claim to be of a certian faith and simply just aren't. They should be judged by their actions not there words. Unfourntately you can't really make that into a stat. And 15% of the population are non-religious and only about 2% are self-proclaimed athiest. There is a difference. Check your facts. Let me guess you believe Hitler was a Christan don't you. And morality isn't based just on the law, but I will grant you it is a big part of it.
@bsamendotatroop I don't really get what you're saying here. I just gave you statistical evidence that the rate of atheists going to prison is much lower than that of Christians going to prison. I think it's pretty clear that one can infer from this that a higher percentage of Christians engage in criminal activity than atheists. Even if your data is correct, the difference in percentages of religious and nonreligious inmates is astounding.
@RobertLuongDick Ignore the 2nd half of my comment. I was just blithering. My intially point is that many of the christians in jail either never were christians or they converted in prison.
@bsamendotatroop Also, Hitler was a hardcore Roman Catholic. Don't believe me? Go read Mein Kampf. The book is filled with passages about how he is doing the Lord's work by 'defending' himself against The Jew. I don't believe morality is based upon law. At least not the basics (don't murder, steal, lie, etc.) If you think about it from a Darwinian perspective, these basic moral codes are actually 'programmed' into our brains back during the caveman era.
@RobertLuongDick Hitler was a nutjob. There is no way he was a Christian. I don't care about what he said; his actions spoke louder than his words. A true Christian would never persecute Jews or murder that many people. To be quite I really don't believe that most politicians and leaders are Christian.
Proven fact: Politician = Liar. If you know your base is majority Christian wouldn't it be stupid to run as anything else? I don't maybe I'm wrong. Unfortunately I guess I'll never really know.
@RobertLuongDick This is something frequently said of Hitler, particular by anticatholics. However, it's clear he hated all Christian denominations as a challenge to his power, particularly the Catholic Church. That's the reason for the concordat.
@RondelayAOK You can say all you want, but it is pretty evident Hitler considered himself a Roman Catholic. Just do a quick google search. I'm not sure if he hated the church or not, but he did believe in the Judeo-Christian "God."
@RobertLuongDick Let me ask you this. If Boy Scouts were to change their policies about gays and atheist what would you think of scouting? Strip away the controversy what do you think of Scouting?
@bsamendotatroop I already think scouting is a good thing. I just replied with all that crap to your comments because I have an issue with the BSA hypocrisy and with the belief that we need religion to keep people moral. Religion was useful back in the day when nobody knew anything about sh!t. Now that we have a greater understanding of our reality, I don't think religion is necessary anymore because it dismisses reality and embraces authority and delusion.
@RobertLuongDick Well I fell I must end my portion of the debate. I know that we both will believe what we are going to believe and further discussion would be pointless. And thank you for being civil in this debate. God be with you even if you don't believe in him.
That is a worthy and epic trip. I don't feel so bad about pushing my troop (also Troop 205, in Tooele, UT) on long hikes anymore. My videos end up being so disjointed, they don't tell the whole story.
boy scouts is gay and this is ganna get spammed and booed but that only means that boy scouts are prjudice and are gay...they have geeky uniforms and think they can save everyone in the world well none of them have a girlfriend-girls dont think boy scouts are sext eath to gay wads! your all geeks with your tight shorts and you hanker chiefs!you dont realize how stupid you are now. and your comeback is probably as bad as "no im not!" or "gay is a bad word my boy scout master taught me about this"
@armysargent8 What are you 3? Try making an argument with using the words gay, faggot, or homo like an intelligent person. By the way it's sexy not sext and earth not eath and its neckerchief not hanker chief. And what does having a girlfriend have to do with saving the world? We don't think we can save the world be we believe we can make a difference in our community and nation. And most boy scouts probably have a better chance at getting a girlfriend then you.

@RobertLuongDick Oh duh. I know it's doesn't stop it at all, but boy scouts can be used as a constructive activity is my point.
And what I was refering to is your belief that Boy scouts is equal to Al Queda.
