I want to first say that I DO understand what you are saying... It took me a long time to understand why Ron says what he says about such things... the bottom line is that Iran is no threat to us. Even with a nuke, they would not dare attack us, because if they did... bye bye Iran. Israel is strong and can deal with them... I think Dr. Paul would make a good Treasury Sec. He's too eccentric to have widespread appeal, and I do think he's vert smart. But unelectable.

@vedicastrol --- you are just use to seeing people that are completely out of touch with reality in change so somebody normal looks eccentric---did you see the NJ Gov today? He took a police helicopter to his kids ball game and is refusing to pay for it! who does he think he is, a king?
If you asked Dr Paul how to end the wars & stop terrorism-- his answer would be "bring our boys home" and "stop bombing other countries"... its not eccentric-its a no brainier but the rest of them dont get it.

Thanks for the video. He has good ideas, especially about reigning in the monster of big government. The real test of his strength will be how voraciously the liberals go after him. He seems like the right candidate, I just hope he makes it.

@primogennaio The political machine called 'liberal' or 'conservative' will launch an all out war against Ron Paul if he runs in the general election. However, you'd be surprised by how much support he garners among true liberals (please note, those are not synonymous with Democrats). Ron Paul knows the existence of such support, as does the media. That's what makes him a potent threat to both parties.

@xxoooOFxx Appreciate your advice. Just one comment - is there really a "true liberal"? Liberals do a lot of preaching, tell the rest of us how to live, think and where to send our children to school. They are all for busing, AIDS treatment centers, homeless shelters, low income housing - but in your back yard, not theirs. I've yet to meet ONE liberal that practices what (s)he preaches.

@primogennaio I think it's because you're blind the idea that a liberal can be anything but what you just listed. Chances are that such liberals have introduced themselves to you, but because they don't fit your template as to what a "liberal" means to you, you don't recognize or acknowledge them as such. I'm a moderate, but I voted for Obama because he didn't embody the agenda of the past 8 years. Don't paint me with a liberal brush because I don't kill those who oppose my opinions.

@saureco You are blind and also ignorant. Yeah, they are liberals. They tell me to accept the poor and Blacks, but build a low income development in their back yard and they oppose it. Like they did in my county. I described them, not you personally. Like all liberals, you can't face the truth. Since you can't be courteous, don't bother replying: I won't open your messages. Won't bother with lice you can only give criticism but can't take it.

@primogennaio he should've said a "classical liberal". That's a person who is for a limited government that fully respects the rights of the individual. (which is real far from most MODERN liberals who want to tell everyone what they can and cannot do) Its a ideology that thinks government should stay out of our lives and let us live as we want to just as long as we dont harm anyone or their property...Its why you hear RP talk about "republic-an roots". Closest thing today is the Libertarians.

@buffalobills91 With all respect, libertarians can be as bad as modern liberals. I know quite a number who are the typical "do as I say, not as I do" liberals. For example, in my county they favor bilingual services despite the cost and how it keeps immigrants from assimilation.

A real Libertarian wouldnt try to subject others to his "will" ("do as I say") because like "the philosophy of liberty" vid here on youtube so wonderfully explains...with liberty, you own yourself...and nobody else has claim to your life or what you have gained from it.
Im not saying I never argue w/people-but when I do its usually cuz society has created sheeple and I'm only trying to wake them up.

@xxoooOFxx .. I love Ron Paul. He is a true patriot and isn't afraid to answer the hard questions with honest and logical answers. (unlike hope and change man or the war mongers) With that understood, he will be attacked by everyone. His own party mocks him, the democrats dont like him.... but he is a great congressman and does a great job... so they cant touch him. He is a total THREAT to their corrupt system. Take that for what its worth but its going to be a major uphill battle for him.

great vid again.... They can all all say whatever they want but he is the only candidate that is running who can save this country--simply because he believes in the core principles that have kept the republic alive for the last 225+ years.......
I'm not meaning to be pessimistic but if he doesn't win I seriously feel this country is done like dinner... we are going past the point of no return.
