Wow, the walking-sound is lame, it was more impressive with the older 'MechWarrior'-games on the PC.

Now THAT they should do another one of, less arcade and more simulator, great singleplay and multiplay, with a controller like that, especially for PC.

Hm, even the camera-movement isn't that realistic, it's like just shoving over the floor, while it should shake the whole thing a lot more.

When I had my sound system at a loud volume the sound was actually really impressive. All the little beeps and boops and whatnot. In the sequel when you shift to the 5th gear you would deploy wheels and roll around haha.

But I kind of would like it to have these more heavy thumps and mechanical robotic sounds and such things.

You know what I mean if you remember or look at 'MechWarrior', unless I confused it with another game.

But for the camera-movement, I like it to be more ehm... kind of flowing up and down, not too crazy, just kind of moving along with the walk to simulate as if you're really dragging along tons of steel.

I already don't like a fixed movement in FPSes, so go figure. :P

Trust me. If you had a 5.1 surround sound and with the bass LOUD it would get to the point of rattling my house. Every footstep would shake everything it was an experience. And about the camera I know what you mean, it does go up and down with your movement and such. But not to the point of where it would get nauseating. Look up more vids. There are quite a few of mechs in this game and the sequel and everyone of them drives, sounds, feels, etc, differently.

And about the camera movement they actually explain it in the manual that in the cockpit there is this buffer foam that would make it super stable so it wouldn't always be all shaky. And in the online sequel if you turned off one of the start up toggles it would make the camera like SUPER jerky and crazy, making it impossible to play, giving the in feel of something like the buffer foam actually being there.

Every time I see this game, I keep forgeting it's a video game, the controller looks more at home on an F22 then a video game console. That should be the standard controller for Mech Games, especally if you like realism

Chromehounds is quite boring compared to this , and yeh, thats comming from a guy who buys just about anything with sega on it.

In this game you really get the feeling your part of a war or something, in chromehounds you just, run for 10 minutes and kill your enemies. I still played it for around 300 battles tho
