Hey! Have you guys seen THE AMERICAN ASTRONAUT (2001) Directed by Cory McAbee. I screen it from time to time. We should be showing it in Dec at Whirled Cinema, Loughborough junction. It would also be a perfect place to screen this. It's the coolest lil' theatre in South london. Incidentally we're having a 'live' webcast with the director after the movie. Check it out.
Well having a movie about Christmas on Mar's isn't exactly the most pro Religion type of thing. I'd think a radical atheist band wouldn't wanna wag their flag like that. Just kind of makes me think less of them for trying to get interest by pulling the whole make fun of religion card.
there's a ridiculous amount of evidence that disproves we ever were on the moon - if that's what you're referring to. If NASA admits we can't go there now due to the technology, how do you think we did it then? Technology never recesses.
No, I'm talking about a film from 2001 that nobody anywhere it seems has seen. Please search youtube for The American Astronaut. Of course they sent men to the moon. It's ridiculous to suggest they didn't.
Hmm, I'll have to check it out. Don't be so eager to believe what the suits tell us; did you know the original "moon" footage was shot at half speed - when viewed in full speed it holds no resemblance to space footage much less the moon surface. That and the two sources of light, the flag in the wind, the absence of stars in the sky which nasa concluded would be visible even on the shitty cameras they use. You can decide for yourself - we'll never know but I'm skeptical.
The shadows of things are not parallel because of the very uneven surface on the moon.
A flag in a vacuum is capable of flapping for a while after being set in motion.
The position of the Sun in relation to the moon caused the stars to not be visible.
Personally I believe we landed on the moon, but I'm not sure. I wouldn't believe it completely unless I was there. But that takes care of those things.
Dude... I *SO* wanted to see this when they were showing it at the 10KLF, but the people I rode there with wanted to hit the road right after the concert. I can't wait to see this movie!
Now this is only coming from a documentary, but Wayne said he laid off the stuff a long long time ago...from the horse's mouth. Either way, film looks better than the schlock in theaters right now. It will be campy, but it will be righteously so.
THE ALEIN IS IN UR BAND!

Looks like another pot-smoking binge from Wayne and the guys. I do hope it's more of a Soft Bulletin quality, not an AWWTM sound jumble.
