where can i get a pyt hair straightner from? i called the pyt store and the store in eaton center of montreal and its out of service... is this some kind of joke?
BOTTOM LINE from all those messages i wrote: DON"T BUY PYT they are ALL FAKES and its fucking hard to get a one replaced. THE PPL FROM THE MANUFACTURING COMPANY WILL IGNORE YOUR MESSAGES. .. so you ask yourself is it safe to risk shipping hte PYT straigtener to them and also including a cheque of $30 for them to send the new pyt back to you????
brought the styler back home after my purchase from seattle outlet mall and it turned out that the styler was nothing like the one that those women sampled on my hair. There was no steam produced, and it didnt seem to make my hair moist, smooth and sleek. It worked like my $19.99 straigtener. and PYT is claimed to be 'high end'??? Looked up my receipt called the number on teh receipt and it turned out to be non-existent. googled it and it said scam. GOD i really wish those bitches get karma
I want to bring it to everyone attetntion that i have been a victim of being scammed from buying this PYT straigtener. ANd this wasn't from some stupid ebay website. I got mine from a kiosk in the Seattle Premium Outlet Mall where there's Burberry, Tommy, Juicy Couture, etc. And who would of guess that there would be scammers setting up a kiosk and claiming to be 'authorized dealer"? Im so pissed off bc i paid $150 which is more than most other kiosks in mall.
Btw I just saw a comment on whether it's good for African American hair and let me just say, don't let the picture of a Caucasian woman on the front fool you, this and the amika are the ideal flat irons for african American hair. (coming from a 15 yr old African American girl who's best electrical appliances are her purple pyt n purple amika flat iron

I was freaking amazed when the guy said he'd give me 2 for 225 plus the life time warrenty n i was like wow. unfortonatly i spent like $60 already. and i told the sales clerk i was unable to buy it. so he gave me the warrenty and the pink flat irons with zebra stripes for like $100. :) i hope my mom likes them
i was thinking of buying a PYT straightner that i saw in the mall..but it wasnt a store it was a kioske. does it change anything? whats the difference buying from the store and buying from a kioske? :)
@graceb1995 I am a sales rep for pyt in a kiosk, the point of the kiosks are to give realistic promotions for the community. If you go online you have a dead line price, and you wont be able to get the codes to get a life time warranty. SOOOO that being said, kiosk are better, at times i have seen some pretty damn good deals they do start at 300 and work there way down, if your lucky honestly you can get one for $100.00, im a real person not a conartist ;)

in order to sound professional and create the illusion that the PYT flat iron is the worlds saving grace. There is a reason why the salespeople are trained to chase you down in the middle of the malls and stick their straighteners in your hair. CHI always loves to keep their high end salon professional feel. Sorry about my rant. Ps i loved your ratings you have a very contageous personality!
(sorry character limit) PYT flat irons do give the desired results visually but they use a cheaper more affordable blen of ceramics that drag the hairs natural oil from the center of the hair to the top, causing the hair to work harder to create its natural oils. This causes the hair to look oilier and flakey and get lazy quicker. Also the rumor the salesperson told you about CHI flat irons not being fully ceramic is something many salespearsons are told to say abuot other popular flat irons--
@ACharmedDeathNote3 ima just put this out there...but umm black people dont have natural oils in their hair, thats why they use grease and oil sheen. so belive it or not, this product is amazing for black people.

The reason why there is no heat dial on most of their flat irons is because in high end salons, flat irons are not supposed to have adjustable temperatures. Chi uses a unique ceramic material that blends perfectly with styling products and heat protectants.

lol i was asked by the guy that works at the pyt kiosk in my mall and after he straightened my hair, he tried so hard to get me to buy it lol but i just couldn't afford it right now.i told him i felt bad and that i honestly really liked the straightener, and he kept saying he can give me coupons or put it on layaway, and just anything he could think of to make me buy it lol. he prob thought i was lying when i said i couldn't afford it lol. it was pretty annoying. :P but it WAS a great product.

Then after she rings me up and takes my $100 she says no returns. WTF?! I think I'm going to make a video telling people not to buy it.
@eietoo I got harassed into buying it too. These people don't take no for an answer. I wanted to see what made this straightener so much better than any other straightener so I used it, and to my surprise, it's actually one of the best straighteners I've used. Maybe you can trade it in for a new one since yours isn't working well.
Ok i love my pink PYT straightener it works wonders and mines pink..got it 2 days ago but i cant curl with it like how the lady did at the mall! If u do know plz tell me and she said u can sleep in it and the nxt day just brush the hair an it will go back to a curl but mine didnt last..is there something wrong with the straightener or...
@Sapphire1498 The straightener is probably fine, did she show you exactly how to do a curl. i.e. the exact technique of properly "maneuvering" it? If not, I'll try to upload a tutorial! :)
@Sapphire1498 -- I sell the straighteners in the mall and the reason your hair might not last is because everyone has different hair texture and it also depends on how you sleep at night. You can't expect to toss and turn and then wake up with perfect curls lol. Also, it might be easier for you to practice curling your hair at the comfort of your own home by watching youtube videos because sometimes when we teach you guys at the kiosk you forget when you get home lol

I just bought a PYT for 130. If you spend 20 bucks more..you get a lifetime warranty, so if you brake it, you get a new one for free.
