You as an individual white man actively conspires with all other white men to oppress blacks.(Think of how equally absurd this statement sounds replacing white with "jewish" and blacks with "whites")
He openly admitted his birth name was Micheal and his father later changed it. He was an adulterer (as did a lot of other historical figures). look I don't like MLK either but this video seems to have the moral of: Blacks and their leaders are evil, violent and most importantly, not a part of the "true American value system". In a way this vid almost "Justifies" the way blacks(The People whose labor built America) are treated in this Country, not only by the whites but the all the other races as well.this vid mine-as well say "Die Negro, die" at the end. I don't know who's the bigger Douche, MLK or the folk that made this video.
That is a completely unprovable point (black men joined black panthers because they saw a picture of MLKJR. with them). Evidence against your claim is MLKJr's continued debates against violent acts and Black Panthers. Black Panthers are not tied with MLKJr. and many of them thought he was a sell-out! And the New Black Panther party is not led by Malcolm so I don't understand your reason in even bringing that up except to build a straw man.
Im pretty sure these "prostitutes" would have come forward wrote a book about it or something. This is some Neo-Nazi shit that has zero proof. Where is the proof?
ol because of his ties with them many black men joined these groups and did great violence. even in the last pres election there stood the new black panthers threatening violence saying they would stomp on white baby's heads, etc. Manson did physically kill anyone but he is in prison. You are never going to convince men that Michael King is a peace maker or a good man. There is 2 much compelling proof that he isn't. @MrBuster128 I have given proof. I have given you in a private message my sources and all of my quotes have been directly from MLKJr. There is also the article from Snopes that discredits much of your ideas. Again, I will never convince you because you are having to lie to make yourself right and me wrong (i.e. about me not having sources) to continue your fantasy and ignore the real world. You have a false sense of power because you feel you know something the world doesn't. Get over yourself.
@MrBuster128 Also please account for the use of logic which make your points, in which I do not have a direct source listed, invalid and no longer hold any water. I am not saying that you as a person are wrong. I am saying that your interpretation is wrong and has twisted many items. For example you talked about photos of him with Malcolm X thinking this proves they are in cahoots! But you ignore everything that tells you they were NOT in cahoots! You're ignoring the evidence.
@BlackJewishPaladin Nice try at a point! Almost intelligent but completely absurd! Math is something that is either right or wrong. We are talking about a human being with many different facets, not a math problem. I can see the message of MLKJr and understand it to be clearly one of non-violence for change. You disagree and that's perfectly fine; this isn't mathematics.
its wild im 32 and i always knew that he wasnt a just man if rasisim was so bad then why did they let him speek to the people they put him there to decive us my granny that is 89 years young said ''fuck martin luther king jr'' nunthin changed then and nw are even worst
Im black & very openminded if this jackass wasnt an obvious bigot i might have given this some thought i guess the mass majority of white men durring the time werent racist at all & america was the model of the constitution it was founded on huh... yea...right ?
you seriously gonna believe a bunch of reports written by a white guy during a time when racism was a sever problem in the US simply becuz he's in the FBI? come on now the FBI is just was guilty of fraud as any indivisual.
and no one is ever born a saint. ppl BECOME saints. St. Paul, (formerly knwn as Saul) who wrote over half the new testament, persecuted the christians BUT ended up dying a martyr for the very faith he tried to oppress through bloodshed
The whole civil rights posse was a bunch of typical afro- perverts. MLK's top lieutenant, the Rev. James Bevel, was recently convicted of routinely raping his own daughter for years, since she was 6. Prosecutors claim he also psychologically abused her, claiming it was part of her "religious training." Three other of his 14 daughters alleged Bevel sexually abused them too. Prosecutors got calls from people all over the country saying Bevel engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct.
And is it also not a possibility, nay, most probable that agents in the FBI (almost all were white) were harboring their own racist attitudes and may have wanted to take King down, even if it meant falsifying evidence? Please remember the context in which all of these things were occuring and always consider whether someone is telling the truth or not. Not every document or quote you find tells the truth!
This was good for a laugh though with all of its fallacies and ignorance!
The tapes and transcribed conversations of King reveal a scoundrel who hated whites, preached black power, promoted communism, and incited riots, which is why it must now be necessary to make a full-length video about his life. Perhaps, in some cases, members of the FBI were "racist" (God forbid, though it's OK that King, his cohorts, and countless other blacks hated whites); that, however, doesn't excuse King's activities.
@MarkFarrell 1. If he hated whites then why did he push for intergration? Why didn't he push for the philosophy of Malcom X who saw violence as the only way for change and for black people to seperate from white people and create their own government? 2. He never promoted communism. He only had a couple of people around him who happened to hold some socialist ideas. 3. He preached black power only because blacks had no power. 4. I already answered the "incited riots" in my first post.
1.) There are pictures of him hanging out with Malcolm X; and he even met with Elijah Muhammad, leader of the neo-Muslims (who get a pin for killing whites). In his youth, he even swore to always hate whites. 2.) He did promote communism, and even said he was a communist in a taped FBI conversation. 3.) He preached "black power" because he wanted anti-white discrimination, where blacks receive "compensatory preference," as he said. 4.) Wherever he went, the flames engulfing cities followed.
@MarkFarrell 1. Just because he "hung out" with Malcolm X and met with Elijah Muhammad does not mean that he was militant like alcolm was. Listen to his speeches and read his words and you will never see anything that says that black people should hurt or kill white people. 2. He never pushed for America to turn Communist so it doesn't matter if he was Communist or not; He never spoke out for communism. 3. That quote of "compensatory preference" was in reference to creating new programs that
@MarkFarrell would help disadvantaged black people out of their disadvantaged states. So yeah they did deserve compensatory preference in regards to that. America does that even with veterans who are at a disadvantage when they get back from war. 4. That's pure hyperbole and gross exaggeration. No city was ever destroyed and any violence that erupted was when Blacks would peacefully protest but then cops would try and make them leave by using water hoses, dogs, pepper spray, tear gas, and others
@MarkFarrell Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars...Hate cannot drive out hate:only love can do that. Nonviolence is the answer
to the crucial political and moral questions of our time
the need for man to overcome oppression and violence
without resorting to oppression and violence.
Man must evolve forall human conflict
amethod which rejects revenge aggression and retaliation.
@MarkFarrell 1. Malcolm X and MLKJr. were both civil rights leaders at the time who did not agree on how blacks could gain their civil rights to make them equal citizens. Malcolm X preached non-violence (which he denounced later in his life and said he was wrong) and MLKJr. preached non-violence. 2. Can you please supply your source? I would like to read the document of him saying he was communist. Now his good friend Levinson was a communist but that doesn't make you a communist be default.
@MarkFarrell 3. He preached black power because he wanted equality. That is a simple fact. He never preached about hate. Never. Look up his speeches and prove me wrong. 4. He was a powerful man. No one can deny that. But no cities ever burned down after he left. This point is irrelevant and pointless. And whatever violence that happened during his protests were due to the outrage of people who disagreed with him and attacked him and the other protesters.
@MarkFarrell And before you go and say Malcolm X never renounced his position, here ya go: "In the past, yes, I have made sweeping indictments of all white people. I will never be guilty of that again — as I know now that some white people are truly sincere, that some truly are capable of being brotherly toward a black man. The true Islam has shown me that a blanket indictment of all white people is as wrong as when whites make blanket indictments against blacks."
@MarkFarrell Also here's evidence against your claim he's a communist: King said to Bayard Rustin in May of 1965, when the SCLC was tussling with the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee over a public statement proclaiming movement unity: "There are things I wanted to say renouncing Communism in theory but they would not go along with it. We wanted to say that it was an alien philosophy contrary to us but they wouldn't go along with it
@MarkFarrell thanks for the great video, just ignore all these porch monkeys on here, they have nothing better to do between prison terms, other than troll
@MarkFarrell .i agree with you in that "black power" by definition would cause "white blowback" in the South. Actually, AFTER King's ASSASSINATION came the "flames engulfing the cities". i would agree with you in this assertion; a skillful racial tension was used. First using the Jews, then putting the blacks in front of the Jews, and now the Gays in front of the blacks. It is by design to break American unity and magnify tension. Whether this was King's intention all along is dubious at best
@seuzo901: you obviously have not studied or researched Malcolm or Martin...Malcolm did not see violence as the only way, he just realized that being passive in the face of brutal aggression left you dead in most cases. and he also fellowshipped with white men and other different races when he went on haj to mecca. Martin did speak of radical topics....just listen to his anti vietnam war speech....
@MarkFarrell ...King was a political leader who was used to get black votes for the Democratic Party..as all black leaders were. He didnt incite riots as much as THE DRAFT which was RESISTED by people who had no interest in contesting an ILLEGAL WAR..it was a conflict, not a declared war. Of course, the FBI was racist, but the bottom line was that the protests, marches destabilized order in the country (but also struck a chord with a nation that KNEW it was BEING LIED TO by Govt).
@seuzo901 oh wow, so now all the FBI are racist...lol....So, if the truth is told about martin luther king then its racism?!? wow! If a guy is a peace of crap then he's a piece of crap, it doen't matter the color of his skin or who he is. Unbelievable, ok lets just keep pretending he's a great man and we will ignore all the crap he has done...Happy Martin Luther King Jr Day!!! Lets be blind sheep..I need to work overtime to keep paying for all these welfare people, lol!!
@MrBuster128 Actually what you need is compassion. Whatever the life Martin Luther King led in private may or may not be the same as his public life. Regardless, his message of non-violence remains strong and in complete accordance to Christian beliefs.
@seuzo901 Oh, it wasn't just his private life...Have you not listened to any of his speeches or read any of his writing? Clearly, you have not. non-violence??? lmao, he preached violence many many times.
@MrBuster128 "An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity." "At the center of non-violence stands the principle of love." "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." "Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness."
@seuzo901 You copy past the first quote from google. If you can't research seriously then stop talking big like you actually have. Sorry, not impressed. Try going to a library. Look at primary and secondary sources and find the truth for yourself. Then you'll be as pissed as I am. Then you'll start researching other "facts" and find that the media and youtube are full of liars.
@MrBuster128 Umm...I'm sorry but did my three comments filled with quotes that go directly against your personal beliefs about MLKJr. make you a little upset? Isn't it interesting that you put facts in quotation marks and then go against the own video you are defending by saying "youtube [is] full of liars." And if I can disprove your ideas without writing a research paper I'm going to do that. Anyone can see I disproved your points but you refuse to accept anything other than your own beliefs
@seuzo901 Nope it doesn't upset me at all and I see no reason why it should. Yes, anyone can comment and anyone can upload on youtube. So, yes youtube is full of liars, but clearly there are some truths here. It is very easy to find the truth and although you have put true statements on here...you have committed the historian sin of not looking at the complete picture. Hell, even the devil tells the truth sometimes. I will send you some of my primary and secondary sources
@MrBuster128 Also realize that this is just a new format to an article written by Edgar J. Steele who got many of his information from Michael Hoffman II who is not only a conspiracy theorist but denies the holocaust and his writing is very anti-semitic. Now I am not saying that these quotes are misquoted but I am saying that they are taken out of context and/or interpreted incorrectly due to his own biases. And people like end up doing what you accuse me of: spouting someone else's ideas
@seuzo901 I submit that an individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for the law.
Martin Luther King Jr.
I'm against abortion and if i followed Michael king's quote i would be in jail/prison
@MrBuster128 "Have we not come to such an impasse in the modern world that we must love our enemies - or else? The chain reaction of evil - hate begetting hate, wars producing more wars - must be broken, or else we shall be plunged into the dark abyss of annihilation." "I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant." "I want to be the white man's brother, not his brother-in-law."
@MrBuster128 "I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear." "Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into friend." "Man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love." AND let us not forget this great quote by MLKJ: "NONviolence is a powerful and just weapon. which cuts without wounding and ennobles the man who wields it. It is a sword that heals." You were saying?
@seuzo901 What upsets me is people believing in lies. People who refuse to see the complete truths in life and not just on this subject but many. (for example there is primary scientific-DNA etc but people refuse to remove it from science books. If all my upper level research showed Michael King as a real peacemaker and hero I would be taking smack about this clip.
@MrBuster128 And I do believe that MLKJr. has been turned into a person of mythic proportions but I cannot however agree that he was ever for the use of violence for his causes or that he did not conduct himself with love and compassion. That is really the point I am trying to make. I say the interpretations are wrong. Just because he was for black power doesn't mean he was anti-white! While you could interpret it that way that would be ignoring they were fighting for equality not superiority
@seuzo901 There are also pictures and documents of his ties with the Black Panthers-hate group equivalent to the KKK. As well as pictures and documents of him with the communist party-greatest threat to freedom. Beating a white prostitute-violence. Talking from real educated men for his dr. My research has found Michael King to be a fraud and very violent. Sorry, I go with the facts and proof. Don't tell me theres a bigfoot show me.There r many great freedom fighters, but ur MLKJr. is a fake
@MrBuster128 And again those pictures are due to the fact that they were going for the same goals but in completely different ways. Just because you take a picture with a group of mormons doesn't make you a mormon. You have to practice what they preach to be called a mormon. MLKJr. did not practice as a Black Panther member.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@seuzo901 lol because of his ties with them many black men joined these groups and did great violence. even in the last pres election there stood the new black panthers threatening violence saying they would stomp on white baby's heads, etc. Manson did physically kill anyone but he is in prison. You are never going to convince men that Michael King is a peace maker or a good man. There is 2 much compelling proof that he isn't. @MrBuster128 That is a completely unprovable point (black men joined black panthers because they saw a picture of MLKJR.
@MrBuster128 Also MLKJr. never did metaphorically drink. He may have visited those metaphorical drunkards but he was not a part of their group. He never condoned what they were doing. You don't seem to grasp the basic philosophical differences between the two because you only see MLKJr. as someone that you can't trust and is pure evil and it is all one big conspiracy. So you are right, I will never convince you but I will continue to destroy your points for others who don't know about MLKJr.
@seuzo901 lol, now if someone say anything against Michael King they are a racist. what a crock defense. No, the FBI are not a bunch of racist out to get King. lmao. weakest argument i have ever heard. I think the race card has been played to the max.
@MrBuster128 Well you have obviously stopped reading any of my posts a long time ago and have just now gone to emotional responses instead of listening, because if you were listening you would have a) saw my sources which I gave you and b) re-stating points that have been nullified earlier. Enjoy the life you lead.
@seuzo901 lol, I have a life and can't spend all my free time trying to show you the a truth that you do not want to see (Michael King was a fraud) You know it's true you have seen the proof WITH sources-real ones at that. He's a proven fraud accept it or pretend he isn't and move on. There is nothing else to say. Sorry
@seuzo901 .. I agree. King was a messianic figure for change, the establishment feared the repercussions of another "Poor People's March" on Washington and how it would dovetail with the Anti-War demonstration, yet the blowback from the assassination caused the very riots they sought to prevent. You are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. COINTELPRO was designed to monitor, discredit and eventually neutralize radical leaders opposing domestic policy, and it was also unconstitutional and Illegal.
He may not have been a saint, but truly none of us are. But he did stand for an idea and helped change an entire society and culture which is what he'll be remembered for and rightly so. I appreciate learning more about him and his history but you can't change what he did. He helped change America for the better which is more than what a vast majority of us can say. So yes he had his flaws, but he stood for a pure idea which will last forever.
Um...the racist lens in which you view the world is palpable. MLKjr did not incite violence or push for riots. Those riots happened because of the anger and hate in white people against black people and when the demonstrators would march down the streets for their rights, it was the angry white people who would start the inciteful language. These were very emotional times and it wouldn't take much to push people over the edge.
*Your coments in red font are amazingly offensive btw*
As a black young male i hute the fact that we blame this and that on the Jews. This is dum it is not a black or white thing it is us that are the problem we kill each we steal from each other WE ARE THE PROBLEM AS A BLACKS. LOOk in the mirrior and tell me what you see then i but your idea's will change.
murdahamase as an older black male & lived during Kings times you might need to listen to DaStr8Truth & get the book. It will help you to understand more about what really went on.
angelslight7: You asked what do the JEWS have to do with this? There is a book called "The Secret Relationship Between Black and Jews" please go get it and read it. JEWS have always had a stronghold on the black community because it is and was financially beneficial for them. The vast majority of the businesses and apartment bldgs were owned by them. MLK was set up by them to lead us in a direction where they could still make their money off us. Study please and see the TRUTH for what it is.
this racist dogged out black people at the end of this video..what he says about king is true but black people in general are a great race so fuck you, you damn racist
I am Black and i know that man talking in this video is white but he is telling the TRUTH and no black person needs to get angry.MLK was not who people think he was and it is time we get our emotions in order. MLK is made to be more than what he was. The JEWS knew that blacks had enough of the treatment so inorder to control our movement they chose one blackman to lead us.I have known for a long time that MLK was a JEWISH puppet and now you know. Black people will one day see Jesse and Sharpton.
Think of it, the same FBI and surveillance watched Malcolm and none of this is said about him, so why demonize the peaceful one and not the more dangerous one with false accusations?

Do your own research and don't just accept all this as fact though.........it's a youtube video made by a person with an agenda.
There were definitely some skeletons in MLK's closet......he's not the monster that this video portrays him as by any means.

This was good for a laugh though with all of its fallacies and ignorance!
seuzo901 2 years ago
The tapes and transcribed conversations of King reveal a scoundrel who hated whites, preached black power, promoted communism, and incited riots, which is why it must now be necessary to make a full-length video about his life. Perhaps, in some cases, members of the FBI were "racist" (God forbid, though it's OK that King, his cohorts, and countless other blacks hated whites); that, however, doesn't excuse King's activities.
MarkFarrell 2 years ago
@MarkFarrell 1. If he hated whites then why did he push for intergration? Why didn't he push for the philosophy of Malcom X who saw violence as the only way for change and for black people to seperate from white people and create their own government? 2. He never promoted communism. He only had a couple of people around him who happened to hold some socialist ideas. 3. He preached black power only because blacks had no power. 4. I already answered the "incited riots" in my first post.
seuzo901 2 years ago
1.) There are pictures of him hanging out with Malcolm X; and he even met with Elijah Muhammad, leader of the neo-Muslims (who get a pin for killing whites). In his youth, he even swore to always hate whites. 2.) He did promote communism, and even said he was a communist in a taped FBI conversation. 3.) He preached "black power" because he wanted anti-white discrimination, where blacks receive "compensatory preference," as he said. 4.) Wherever he went, the flames engulfing cities followed.
MarkFarrell 2 years ago
@MarkFarrell 1. 3. That quote of "compensatory preference" was in reference to creating new programs that
seuzo901 2 years ago
@MarkFarrell would help disadvantaged black people out of their disadvantaged states. So yeah they did deserve compensatory preference in regards to that. America does that even with veterans who are at a disadvantage when they get back from war. 4. That's pure hyperbole and gross exaggeration. No city was ever destroyed and any violence that erupted was when Blacks would peacefully protest but then cops would try and make them leave by using water hoses, dogs, pepper spray, tear gas, and others
seuzo901 2 years ago
@MarkFarrell Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars...Hate cannot drive out hate:only love can do that. Nonviolence is the answer
to the crucial political and moral questions of our time
the need for man to overcome oppression and violence
without resorting to oppression and violence.
Man must evolve forall human conflict
amethod which rejects revenge aggression and retaliation.
The foundation of such a method is love.
seuzo901 2 years ago
@MarkFarrell 1. Malcolm X and MLKJr. were both civil rights leaders at the time who did not agree on how blacks could gain their civil rights to make them equal citizens. Malcolm X preached non-violence (which he denounced later in his life and said he was wrong) and MLKJr. preached non-violence. 2. Can you please supply your source? I would like to read the document of him saying he was communist. Now his good friend Levinson was a communist but that doesn't make you a communist be default.
seuzo901 1 year ago
@MarkFarrell 3. He preached black power because he wanted equality. That is a simple fact. He never preached about hate. Never. Look up his speeches and prove me wrong. 4. He was a powerful man. No one can deny that. But no cities ever burned down after he left. This point is irrelevant and pointless. And whatever violence that happened during his protests were due to the outrage of people who disagreed with him and attacked him and the other protesters.
seuzo901 1 year ago
@MarkFarrell And before you go and say Malcolm X never renounced his position, here ya go: "In the past, yes, I have made sweeping indictments of all white people. I will never be guilty of that again — as I know now that some white people are truly sincere, that some truly are capable of being brotherly toward a black man. The true Islam has shown me that a blanket indictment of all white people is as wrong as when whites make blanket indictments against blacks."
seuzo901 1 year ago
@MarkFarrell Also here's evidence against your claim he's a communist: King said to Bayard Rustin in May of 1965, when the SCLC was tussling with the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee over a public statement proclaiming movement unity: "There are things I wanted to say renouncing Communism in theory but they would not go along with it. We wanted to say that it was an alien philosophy contrary to us but they wouldn't go along with it

MrRickmowen 8 months ago
@MarkFarrell .i agree with you in that "black power" by definition would cause "white blowback" in the South. Actually, AFTER King's ASSASSINATION came the "flames engulfing the cities". i would agree with you in this assertion; a skillful racial tension was used. First using the Jews, then putting the blacks in front of the Jews, and now the Gays in front of the blacks. It is by design to break American unity and magnify tension. Whether this was King's intention all along is dubious at best
SuperOmnicron 7 months ago
@seuzo901: you obviously have not studied or researched Malcolm or Martin...Malcolm did not see violence as the only way, he just realized that being passive in the face of brutal aggression left you dead in most cases. and he also fellowshipped with white men and other different races when he went on haj to mecca. Martin did speak of radical topics....just listen to his anti vietnam war speech....
da9sifa 1 year ago
@MarkFarrell ...King was a political leader who was used to get black votes for the Democratic Party..as all black leaders were. He didnt incite riots as much as THE DRAFT which was RESISTED by people who had no interest in contesting an ILLEGAL WAR..it was a conflict, not a declared war. Of course, the FBI was racist, but the bottom line was that the protests, marches destabilized order in the country (but also struck a chord with a nation that KNEW it was BEING LIED TO by Govt).

@MrBuster128 Actually what you need is compassion. Whatever the life Martin Luther King led in private may or may not be the same as his public life. Regardless, his message of non-violence remains strong and in complete accordance to Christian beliefs.

Then you'll start researching other "facts" and find that the media and youtube are full of liars.
MrBuster128 1 year ago

AND let us not forget this great quote by MLKJ: "NONviolence is a powerful and just weapon. which cuts without wounding and ennobles the man who wields it. It is a sword that heals." You were saying?
seuzo901 1 year ago
@seuzo901 What upsets me is people believing in lies. People who refuse to see the complete truths in life and not just on this subject but many. (for example there is primary scientific-DNA etc but people refuse to remove it from science books. If all my upper level research showed Michael King as a real peacemaker and hero I would be taking smack about this clip.
MrBuster128 1 year ago
@MrBuster128 And I do believe that MLKJr. has been turned into a person of mythic proportions but I cannot however agree that he was ever for the use of violence for his causes or that he did not conduct himself with love and compassion. That is really the point I am trying to make. I say the interpretations are wrong. Just because he was for black power doesn't mean he was anti-white! While you could interpret it that way that would be ignoring they were fighting for equality not superiority
seuzo901 1 year ago
@seuzo901 There are also pictures and documents of his ties with the Black Panthers-hate group equivalent to the KKK. As well as pictures and documents of him with the communist party-greatest threat to freedom. Beating a white prostitute-violence. Talking from real educated men for his dr. My research has found Michael King to be a fraud and very violent. Sorry, I go with the facts and proof. Don't tell me theres a bigfoot show me.There r many great freedom fighters, but ur MLKJr. is a fake
MrBuster128 1 year ago
@MrBuster128 Look up the article on Snopes and search 'Four Things About King.' You'll find your 'bigfoot' there.
seuzo901 1 year ago
@MrBuster128 And again those pictures are due to the fact that they were going for the same goals but in completely different ways. Just because you take a picture with a group of mormons doesn't make you a mormon. You have to practice what they preach to be called a mormon. MLKJr. did not practice as a Black Panther member.
seuzo901 1 year ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
@seuzo901 lol because of his ties with them many black men joined these groups and did great violence. even in the last pres election there stood the new black panthers threatening violence saying they would stomp on white baby's heads, etc. Manson did physically kill anyone but he is in prison. You are never going to convince men that Michael King is a peace maker or a good man. There is 2 much compelling proof that he isn't. If you only get drunk on the weekend you're still got a drinking prob
MrBuster128 1 year ago
@MrBuster128 That is a completely unprovable point (black men joined black panthers because they saw a picture of MLKJR. with them). Evidence against your claim is MLKJr's continued debates against violent acts and Black Panthers. Black Panthers are not tied with MLKJr. and many of them thought he was a sell-out! And the New Black Panther party is not led by Malcolm so I don't understand your reason in even bringing that up except to build a straw man.
seuzo901 1 year ago
@MrBuster128 Also MLKJr. never did metaphorically drink. He may have visited those metaphorical drunkards but he was not a part of their group. He never condoned what they were doing. You don't seem to grasp the basic philosophical differences between the two because you only see MLKJr. as someone that you can't trust and is pure evil and it is all one big conspiracy. So you are right, I will never convince you but I will continue to destroy your points for others who don't know about MLKJr.
seuzo901 1 year ago

@seuzo901 .. I agree. King was a messianic figure for change, the establishment feared the repercussions of another "Poor People's March" on Washington and how it would dovetail with the Anti-War demonstration, yet the blowback from the assassination caused the very riots they sought to prevent. You are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. COINTELPRO was designed to monitor, discredit and eventually neutralize radical leaders opposing domestic policy, and it was also unconstitutional and Illegal.
SuperOmnicron 7 months ago
He may not have been a saint, but truly none of us are. But he did stand for an idea and helped change an entire society and culture which is what he'll be remembered for and rightly so. I appreciate learning more about him and his history but you can't change what he did. He helped change America for the better which is more than what a vast majority of us can say. So yes he had his flaws, but he stood for a pure idea which will last forever.
seuzo901 2 years ago
Um...the racist lens in which you view the world is palpable. MLKjr did not incite violence or push for riots. Those riots happened because of the anger and hate in white people against black people and when the demonstrators would march down the streets for their rights, it was the angry white people who would start the inciteful language. These were very emotional times and it wouldn't take much to push people over the edge.
