  • Amen Maverick, Most of the wannabes can't sing so they get a noisy band to cover up. And most of the bands don't know how to play, seems to me the guitarest out there only know 2 cords and play it over and over. thank you for your post and all others that love the oldied

  • Thanks for posting this wonderful video. I'm an Os fan for sure. Could someone tell me the date of this setting? Thanks so much,

    Jim

  • No one and I mean no one can play the dobro like Brother Oswald and like 1000Magicians I am a sucker for the dobro.

  • @rebelrandle what you have here is pure country musicians it don't get any better then old timers they new how to play. but these assholes out into days country music are just WANNABES.to here great country music just go down to lower broad in Nashville and hit the tonks down there i live here and we see the best down on broad.

  • not too many dobro players around any more and it's a shame

  • I can only wish that someday I can play the dobro even close to the way Oswald plays it. This song is one of my all time favorites... he makes it seem so easy. I enjoyed those visits to the Opry and taking pictures at the stage of Oz when Roy was on the Opry. No better dobro player you will ever hear.

  • I am 'late in life' student of the dobro. When asked

, "why the dobro"? i bring up this song and say no more.
