  • i have that same exact car and i love it!

  • @jakep2007 wouldnt be a saab in that case!

  • i wish i knew what he was saying

  • I love my 9-3 turbo. A LOT.

  • if this car was RWD i would buy another. lol

  • hmm..why does every video of esp show the front wheels always twitching at first? is it driver reaction from actually going where you want, or the brakes pulling the wheels that way?

  • I just bought an 07 SAAB 9-3 2.0T for $9450 virtually in mint condition with 101000km on it. I was looking for SAABs first and foremost because theyre awesome, secondly because they have much lower resale value than say a Lexus and especially BMW or Mercedes. Best of all, it comes with so many options that you'd have to burn money to get from other brands, especially Honda, and I dont plan on selling it so I WIN. Also, they're sexy looking cars and very fun :) SAAB = Best

  • @zekethehillbilly It looks like we converted another one! Hooray for saab!

  • speak english ya dillhole, and spell slide properly!

  • Its clear that he tried to spin it the first time and he tried to keep it from spinning the second time! watch the front wheels

  • Love saab and love GM. If it wasn't for GM there wouldn't be Saab. It would have been a distant memory. They bought Saab when Saab was ready to Die. Don't forget some of the best motors ever made come from GM.....vette need I say more. Learn the facts before you post.

  • @TheComed They were nowhere near from dieing, just needed reorganisation.

  • @TheComed What?! Lol. the 1990's was SAAB's BEST time ever!!! Year after year they were posting double digit increases of sales. Fuck GM, all they did was starve SAAB of their true potential. And the Corvette is a POS, just look at that interior. Not to mention the shit that they build like the old DeVille and the Escalade and Yukon and Tahoe wich are all copies of each other.

  • I wish that GM didn't screw up Saab, hopefuly they will be back on their feet.

  • I agree 100%!

  • They will they will spiker auto just bought >>>>>>>The State of Independence will remain...

  • I just heard, about 2 days ago! I'm so happy Saab won't have that embarasing GM badge on it anymore. Hopefully Saab will redo its intirior though.

  • @AdrianC12345 Sadly, I think that SAAB is closer to the end now than they have ever been. GREAT cars but it's obviously hard for them to make a big enough profit? But I still have hope.

  • Saab = worst resale value

  • why?

  • yeah but tht means you can get a 3 year old car wit 10,000 miles on it for half of what you would pay new besides if you buy a saab you keep it high resale value is only good if your the first buyer the you just get screwed you can get a 07 saab 9-5 cheaper than an 07 honda accord with 20,000 more miles

  • @FantomLightning. Well Said!!!!!!

  • do you press the butten to turn it on or is it on automatically. and is it bad for your car to drive with it always on

  • every ESP-equipped car works automatically unless you press(turn off) the button

  • i assume the button turns it on, otherwise it would have been labelled 'ESP Off'

  • No, it's automatically on. When you press the button, the "ESP off" sign displays on the display by the speedometer.

  • its a saftey feature..so no you're good to drive with it on

  • Although I don't plan on trying this with mine...it's good to know it can perform like that.

  • You press a button on the linear models i have a 2005 saab 9-3 I love it

  • Is the ESP always on? Or do you press the button to turn it on on the Linear model?

  • It's on by default when you turn on the car. Hitting the ESP button turns it off.

  • it should be always on

  • I love my 04 saab 93 sport saloon....FAST!!lol!!!

  • nice looking ride

  • Every WOMAN should by Saab with this tracing controll :D ! Works fine :o !

  • The best car in this hellllll world!!

  • hahaha... I agree.

  • i too tink ESP it´s like controlling stuff with your mind.

  • That test is bull...!

They are not driving the same way with and without the ESP, they are provoking the car more when driving without ESP, so you can't compare!

ESP is a good thing, but I'll prefer rear wheel drive and learning to drive! ;-)

  • You are right, it sucks....

  • isnt ESP like controlling stuff with your mind? damn, i wish i had that for my car LOL

  • Hell I hope you were joking. Otherwise please die to save others trouble.

  • yeah i was joking 100%

  • Hah, awesome. Forget that.

  • Nice ESP, but it's even better to learn how to drive.

  • Good point!

  • Yes, but under these circumstances in RL where you had to do those manuvers on snow, it's impossible to just know how to drive and not spin out. That's where the ESP comes in. It doesn't replace driver skill, but it does add an additional layer of safety should one have to make an emergency maneuver

  • If it's so, post your video how you pass this test in about 60 kph (40 mph) on snow (ice, water, sand) and without ESP.

  • Stensoft, I (un)fortunately passed this test on summer tires @90 km/h, & the last thing on my mind was filming. It took me 4 swings to get it back because I was closing in on the car in front of me and everytime I got my car somewhat straight I had to hit the brakes to lose some speed and of course I had to lose the back each time. Maybe video next time.

OPL I agree, ESP is a layer of safety. Skill does save you though, if practiced until it becomes a reflex, a subconscious reaction.

  • Stensoft, in case it wasn't clear enough: summer tires ON snow, ok?

  • Jee, stensoft, rent some old rally videos and knock yourself out...

  • Måste säga att hans counter-steering inte var bra såklart det snurrar. Anyway skillnad såklart med esp men då åker man av vägen istället när det går för fort ;)

  • what should i get a 2003 saab 9-3 or a 2002 jeep GC overland?? for my first car

  • I'd go for the Saab. Jeeps are cool, but a Saab gets better gas mileage, is way more fun to drive, attracts the chicks and is a unique car!

My 2003 9-3 has 140,000 miles with no problems!

  • yes ur right and now that saab is closing it will be an even more unique car but damn i have to admit the overland is fast

  • Go buy a saab 9-3 aero.

  • wow älskar saab,haft 9-3 äldre,o nu 9-5.bavo saab,säker o diskert.

  • Trashy? Man...I love mine. I also liked the old hatchbacks too, but this has a more sporty look.

  • personally I don't like the hatchbacks...starting with 99 9-5 Sedans I think they really have a distinctive look. New models are even hotter!

  • yea, i guess the old models were not so easy on the eyes. thats the way saab snobs liked it. maybe the old style will comeback, i miss the hatchbacks.

  • this design is so damn trashy..........GM fucked this brand up big tme.......where is model for saab purists ?

  • It's funny because most people think the older design is trashy. Everyone tells me they can't believe how good the new designs are.

  • i have had lots of saabs from 9000 old 900 new 900 and new 93 sports range

I have hated all of designs when released except when the sports saloon was released in 2002 which i loved instantly but interestingly i love all the designs now they kind of grow on you

  • couldnt agree more, i have the ss, but i still love the older 9-3 viggens they are mint

  • funny u say its a GM design when the 9-5 design was norwegian called Harald Haraide

  • AWESOME! LOVE IT!
