Jets don't really need yokes. All they need to do is send messages to the hydraulics to move the elevators and ailerons. But I prefer yokes. They feel more satisfying when flying. For this reason, I prefer Boeing cockpits to the cockpits of the

a320 series and beyond.

yes, I agree to a point, although the sidestick may seem somewhat foreign compared to a yoke, they feel comfortable in the hand and are very easy to use.

i thought airbus has the joysticks on the side. not yokes. this plane has a yoke

in a310 and a300 are yokes,in all other types are sidesticks, it began with the a320,the first airbus flown by sidestick with fly by wire

Com muita pena minha já não. Quem ainda os tem é a SATA Internacional. Eu gosto muito de andar nos A310-300. Na descolagem treme muito menos do que se for no A320.

Faço com alguma frequência viagens dos Açores para Lisboa. Por vezes é na TAP e outras vezes é na SATA. Antes de ir estou sempre na expectativa para que o avião seja o A310-300.

Os rádios estão em alta voz? Ou gravaste do headset? É normal estarem em alta voz?

Tambem se usa Heavy depois do callsign em portugal/europa para os 'passarões'? Pensava que so nos EUA.

O Loud Speaker está ligado e sim é normal estarem ligados. Quanto ao "Heavy" normalmente é só nos EUA. A controladora usou, mas nós na resposta não. Acontece... Mas não é normal.

amazing aircraft A310/A300 have the most incredible flight deks.. too bad lots of the pilots that I have met from TAP have a chip on there shoulders, I dont ever whant to apply for a job there...
