Im getting an NSR this summer, but i´ve never been on a bike before, except scooters but they dont have gears :P Could someone with some spare time and a good heart, tell me step-by-step how to shift gears because i think i can manage the start :P thats all i´ve learn.

I went from a 50cc to NSR. I learnt to ride the NSR within a day, piece of cake. To shift gears you simply pull in the clutch (left hand lever) and push down for first gear the up for the rest (with the gear shifter located in front of the left foot peg). Goodluck and have fun, the NSR is a great first bike!!

is it like this.. this is just from the top of my head.. never tried it, just what i have assumed its like..

1. Release all gas

2. Pull the clutch (against the "handbar")

3. Tap the gear shifter to next gear you want)

4. Release the clutch slowly

5. give the same ammount of gas as you had before

is that correct or can you atleast correct my errors so i dont fall off and die :P
