Why is it called Portland? When I think about the city high temperatures aren't the first thing to come to mind.

how well does the portland move air. i'm in australia where i think we have a different idea of hot weather. 95-116f for about 3-4 months of the year. leather is a great protector and i do wear it during cooler months but impossible during peak summer. portland looks a winner but i need it to flo at these temps, any advice?

@perf5paul Hey Perf - The Shotgun or Air 2 will flow more air than the portland 2. The Portland 2 sacrificed some ventilation for protection being that there is only closed mesh on it. For looks and protection it is one of the top of the food chain products although there are other Dainese products that will flow more air.

Hey Neo - that stinkcs. What it sounds like happened was the anodized button sna zips were pulled from the final production model vs the "close to production" models we originally had last fall to review.

just got the portland 2 tex, it didn't have the red annodized button or zipper pull,...why did the factory send different kinds to different dstores?
