@MiniMorris97 its only 2 bucks a can or for some of the best one its 8 bucks for a pack of 2 not freakin 20 bucks and plus its his money so why u worrying about it let him spend his money how he wants it
so,make sure you use 20 dollars worth of canned air to get snow off the water proof truck, shake out all the grime on the counter, then wipe it up with the same towel that you continue to wipe the truck off with,,........got it
Great Vid. All the air cans ive ever used say not to shake the can. Causes internal chemical reaction which makes the can get cold quicker with less air power. Not sure if the cans you are using say the same. Great vid though
hello there rcnightmare im a huge ! huge ! huge fan of yours and i have watched every video of yours!! i love you guys soo much!!!1
and im a fan of rc cars. so christmas is coming up so i decided to get a car !
i thought i should get the summmit because i live in thailand where it is hot but the it dirt couses and motorcross tracks so me and my best friend would drive there! i also live right next to a beach and ive seen people drive on the beachand i just wanted to know what should i buy
air compressor is fine as long as u turn down the pressure on it i have a small craftsman and it works just fine i clean mine up after mudding dirt driving and snow and i never had a problem and yes i do use wd 40 on it by the way canned air will make u go broke cleaning up the rc's lol
@ironeagle2526 what helps controlling the pressure is getting one of those small-mouthed air sprayer bits, you can get em at walmart for under $5. As for the canned air, i save it for cleaning electronics
I just throw my slash into the sink, and I just run the water all over it to clear all the snow, dirt, and slush. It's already wet anyway so it's quicker. Then I dry the heavy stuff off and I use the hair dryer!
got any motor lubricant tips for my waterproof mamba monster motor? like i know you can see the bearing at the rear of the motor, what should i use to keep it nice and smooth moving? thanks larry.
@Bloomhighschool Dude timely post, I just waterproofed mine tonight and installed! What type if isues are you having that normal cleaning wont prevent? Do you use that mootor cleaner stuff? That worked pretty good
@rcnightmare actually havent had any problems yet, i do exactly what you show in video, i havnet got any rust yet, just curious at the end of the motor, does that sometimes need to be greasted or oiled up to keep it running smoothly? other than that, i should use wd40 to keep every moving part smooth right?
@blabloomoo for sure...just need the snow to melt :) Sping is maybe just a few weeks a way and you can bet this thing will be muddy..,.just put the monster in today....
I ruined a brushed motor with wd40 . I won't use it again. Sorry to be a PAIN !! I I'd like to see some winter bashing !! I love running my aftershock in the snow !!
@1nfld not a pain at all, its good for people to hear about it and know the risks they might be getting into. I think its just best to stick with what your most comfortable with :)
Also don't spray silicon oil under your servos or servo saver, u will CURSE that day a long time. It will not turn as good as it turned without silicon oil.
I myself would not use WD-40 it can do more harm than good. I would use Moo-slick which makes a film on all of the parts or your car, and protects against water, rust, and many other things. Give it a try it's worth every penny!
@jtc817 yea thanks for the tip, I think I will have to check that out...haven't had much problems with wd-40 but its always better to use the stuff made for rc's when you can
just throw it in the bathtub, rinse it off with warm water, dry it how ever you want to (compressed air or just air dry), then use a little wd-40 or some bearing oil and youre good to go. only takes about 5 mins.

Just wondering, can't you just leave it on top of a trash can or sink and let the snow melt and drp out? Instead of doing all of this?
