First of all, Stalin died in 1953, genius!

Second, saying "the big bad American gov't must've lied because they lie all the time" is not evidence of a lie here. Reflectors left on the lunar surface have reflected lasers beams from Earth. Apollo 12 recovered a camera from a Surveyor probe that landed in 1967 and was found to have been exposed to lunar conditions. This past July, the Lunar Recon Orbiter even took photos of the Apollo 11 and 14 landing sites, showing LMs and even footprints.

they can point a laser at the moon a measure the exact distance from the moon to the earth. because astronauts placed mirrors on the the moon to reflect light back. if they did not do that there would be no way they could measure the distance.

The "lunar laser ranging retroreflector array." Apollo 11 astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong put it there on July 21, 1969. It is still used to measure the dustance.
