Dude this video is so amazingly informative. I have a double sink so I leave the faucet running and the water overflows to the second sink. It keeps the cold water flowing making the cooling much faster. Oh yeah I use ice as well as blue ice packs.
So let me get this straight. You..... fill the sink..... with..... cold water?...... Hmmm...... Ok NOW I get it. :) Nice music Chip. And for anyone not knowing, their recommendation about using ice is definitely the way to go. You can even do some cold water first, let the kettle heat that up, drain the original water (now warmed), then add more cold water with ice. Also, stir the wort gently with a sanitized spoon and that will help too. cheers.
