a 5000 lbs vehicle with a 160hp motor (when new) up the hard side... are you nuts? :) The rig is setup more for rock crawling than dunes, but since we were in the neighborhood we decided to visit glamis. My friends had their quads and even though I had to take different lines etc (I didn't run the ridges much) it was still great fun.

Auto trans are shit I love a 5spd in an explorer, they react better. Very cool truck either way though m8.

Its really a 4x4..  when the vid was taken it was still running stock high mileage motor (250k+ miles) on the transmission (4.0l 6cyl motor/a4ld auto transmission) with 4:10 gears and a detroit rear locker on 32x11.50 BFG Ats on 15x8 rims.

That's the thing you can always expect from a 4.0 they run as good as new with high miles (if taken care of) Kinda suprised the a4ld had that many miles on it but cool :)
