I think the choir was ok. Most women there are beautiful. Enya is just amazing. I wish I could marry her and live in her castle so she could sing her song only to me lol. Love her!

Another reason she seldom plays live is the high cost of hiring all those extra singers and musicians. There's no way she could tour with all those people.

I'll give the choir the benefit of the doubt; they can sing. However, it must be said they can't sing Enya's songs. Enya's real voice is beautiful tho; they didn't digitize it like the track, so you don't get that acoustic "echo" effect in this performance. But this song and album was one of her best!
Maybe microphones or speakers didn't run well / the choir wasn't good / music instruments made noise interference / the sound of this video has been distorted / Enya felt little ill or tired...
Many grounds might exist. Besides, I can't believe we lay the blame on her.
Anyway, do you (everybody) think she sings so? She mustn't, otherwise no country would like to invite her so and she wouldn't have sold so many CDs.

I'm sorry but this performance is dead up terrible. Enya gets VERY shaken during performances and for somebody who can sell 90 million albums that;s a little strange.

Enya can sing live good. Just watch her performance of white is in the winter night. In this performance and that one, she doesn't sound any different then the album except that her voice isn't layered over.

well I didn't think this was much good. and it was a clone of "only time" . some parts sounded exactly the same like the pizzacato intro, she can only write one song and is just trying to cash in on a hit. and kelly ripa is so stupid. typical dumbass presenter.
WOW! This is first time I hear enya sing live for real and not from tape! But I must say that the backing vocalists aren't working at all. Backing vocals could be removed or use the original playback for those. There's simply too much voice when they come in.
Please don't blame backing vocalists. this is live, and the imperfection in it is just another good color. If u're expecting the perfect one then we've gotta back to the lip-synced shows. Hell no!!!!!!!!!!

Enya is a great STUDIO ARTIST, but she can't sing live. It has nothing to do with that it sounds different to the studio version. It sounds weak... and it got worse s soon as the backing vocalists started to sing along. Fair opinion

at 2:07 gave me goosebumps when she said "Cry"
In addition, at 2:27, she was dead amazing! Her pitch, vibrato and soft voice hit the bulls eye! Especially at 2:38 until the end...
