If Meeko isn't in the shack when you arrive there (tried that 2/2 times now), go west to the road and look around. He should be standing near the road or on it. Approach him and he'll run to the house, afterwards you can talk to him.

I shot him accidentally, I was shooting arrows in the air (We all do it :P) and one came down and landed on his fuckin head. HEADSHOT! but he died.

If Meeko dies, you can bring him alive.

1. Look at Meeko

2. Open consule

3. Click on him

4. Type "resurrect"

Meeko is alive! This also works on horses and other creatures.

I was hunting in the woods with Lydia and I saw a dog like creature so I pulled back an arrow, ready to shoot it, but I got closer and it turned out to be a stray dog. So it followed Lydia and I on our hunting adventure. :) But then I followed some elk out into this lake and I got up on an island to shoot them. When I was done, Lydia was there, but the dog was not. I forgot to say that the dog was not in the area the video showed. It's too easy to get attached to the stray dog. :(

i revived the owner of meeko using reanimate corpse but when i fast traveled to whiterun(meeko was left at breezehome) the nord just turned to a pile of ashes. I feel bad for Meeko ;_;

Perhaps the nord or meeko would react diferently if meeko was at the shack.if someone can, then please try this. you can get reanimate corpse from Farengar secret fire in dragonsreach.

Another way if you hate exploring but love spending: Go to Markath stables and go find the dog breeder. Both the horse and the breeder look alike. A dog costs 500 gold

Not sure if you know about the Daedric quest with the talking dog? He will follow you around for forever until you finish the quest, he's massively OP and runs through the entire dungeon ahead of you and kills everyone... =\ the only problem is he always walks into you and pushes you into corners and it's super annoying trying to find all the dead bodies... but hey! Free dog!

He took on like... 5 guys by himself one time :P But then I gave him back to the Daedra guy.
